    As many problems KTM buyers are having with the starting system they should realize the bike needs a kicker.

      Gosh I couldn't agree with you more. I personally think that they all need a kick just incase because for what ever reason a battery can die and now your stranded. And if you don't know weight on your side to be able to bump start it then you will have a ruff day.

      I agree, I got a 2014 450 sxf and it's a pig to start, no kick. Always gotta lug around a booster.

    Did you use a trailtech stator or just a stock stator with a trailtech flywheel?

    • @RomanovichAutoSurgeon
      @RomanovichAutoSurgeon  4 роки тому

      I used a trail tech with the flywheel. It actual came together as a bundle.

      @@RomanovichAutoSurgeon where did you get it and how much?

    • @RomanovichAutoSurgeon
      @RomanovichAutoSurgeon  4 роки тому

      @@dukensnusan543 it was actually on the trail tech website. Don't remember how much it was. But you will have to figure out the wiring. Because it technically will say that they don't have one for the bike but they do. It's weird. I spoke with their service and they said they don't sell one for this bike, but when you search it it gives you one

      @@RomanovichAutoSurgeon is yours the TTS-8360A? I've been researching one for my 505 and this one comes up, maybe it's the same as yours?

      Davion Knight Nusan Give me some time and I’ll look it up. I don’t know cause my is 450. You may have to look up on forums. Probably best place to look. Or call the dealership or even trail tech and tell them what bike you got. They in Cali so you will have to work out the time zone difference

    • @RomanovichAutoSurgeon
      @RomanovichAutoSurgeon  3 місяці тому

    What does that black know do under near the gas shut off and turn on do my bike struggles to start to

    • @RomanovichAutoSurgeon
      @RomanovichAutoSurgeon  4 роки тому

      The Black Knob is the choke. You pull it out and it activates the Choke. This would be used on a cold day or a cold start if it doesn't want to crank over normally.
      Try to pull it out towards you and see what happens. It definitely may help.

    Chain looks way to tight..... Lean it over till a little gas leaks out the carb, then start it.

    Where did you get your parts ?

    • @RomanovichAutoSurgeon
      @RomanovichAutoSurgeon  4 роки тому

      Mainly I got my Parts from eBay, do to the fact that I wanted to save money. Also order some parts from trail tech. Also I did buy the exhaust crank shaft and some other parts from Ktm world. I believe that's what it's called. They are a big store for used parts from racing bikes and a bunch more! Sorry for the late response!

    I got the same bike doesn’t wanna start either lol sometimes it starts after like 20 kicks

      Lucas Santos It’s a rough one. Try to adjust the cam chain tensioner. Maybe see how much tension there is on the cam chain. Could be over stretch. Also make sure your lobs on the valves are not too worn, make sure the decompression lobe is also working properly. That was definitely one of my problems, plus a worn out cam shaft. Don’t remember which it was but it should be some where in one of the videos. Hope you get it!!

    I am 60 kilos and can bump mine in 1st without drama

    • @RomanovichAutoSurgeon
      @RomanovichAutoSurgeon  5 років тому

      Well it still could be your decompression lob on the exhaust cam shaft. That may be worn our just enough or could be as simple as needing new shims, for a valve adjustment. I know they are very fragile with any adjustment you do to them.
