…Your soup looks tasty. Collards are my number one favorite vegetable. If people would incorporate more greens of all kinds into their diet, they would be fit and healthy. Even my cat gets very finely cut ribbons of spinach, romaine lettuce, and mashed steamed broccoli into her food a few times a week. In the 70s, carrots, beets, turnips, kohlrabi, etc, all had their green top leaves on. Now the store ones are mostly removed and people don’t even know you can eat them. Your plants are so green and healthy looking. 🤗 🥬 🐈⬛ 🐾 🥬
Thank you for the experiment of drying methods
Beautiful garden video staring Squeak. 5:56 looks like a flying insect. Ending drone video is outstanding.
Love your content! And the way you think! Can I please say to anyone who loves a cat. Always check your dryer before turning it on for the presence of your pet. Yes, I had an incident I never dreamed would happen. My pets okay but burnt some ear and tail.
Number one 🎉👍🏻😍
I always dehydrate kale every year. I add it to stew, soups and mash potatoes. No one knows the difference. Thanks for sharing.
Sounds great! i'll be dehydrating from now on, works great and helps keep the kale harvested, plants r healthier when theyre trimmed back. thanks, have a great day
I always enjoy your uploads but I hate kale so today I am here only because I knew I would get to see squeak too haha .. your gardens are looking great so far this year man,
I love Miss Squeak's intros...welcoming us.🐈⬛😃
I also use broccoli and cauliflower leaves for my green powder.
You can air dry, but you need to put your drying rack in full sun.
What a cute baby opossum.😃
.
Thanks for the tips! it'll be nice to have kale soups ez made with the powder during winter. thanks, have a great day
Thanks for sharing 👍
To dehydrate naturally they need to be in full sun when its very hot like the dehydrator. Can be taken temporally inside at night to prevent bugs from getting at them.
I am freeze drying my okra this year to powder it up. I have also freeze dried spinach and kale to use in dishes. Love it.
Sounds great!
Love your videos mate! Have someone sponsor you for a freeze dryer…
Your little bird appears to be a Carolina wren. They're noisy little dudes. :)
I need some kale powder.
You could use that powder for smoothies too.
5:55 is that an alien flying down to say hi to the little opossum?
Ivdont have dehydrator but my airfryer seems to think it can.😂
Hi from a NC girl here. Can you do a video on the soups and salads you make please. I would like to try to make some. ❤ I love your videos and always look forward to them. ❤
Are you ever interested in getting chickens or other poultry for eggs? Love your videos!
Not sure why but I have same dehydrator but mine has a on/off switch! Maybe mine is newer I wonder if they upgraded the the thermal fuse too
Im curious as to the taste of the dry kale versus fresh. Which is more pungent?
it has a wonderful flavor very similar to the fresh kale. Once its rehydrated with water its almost identical.
Did you cross breed the Kale yourself? If not where did you get the seed Thanks
hi, i crossed the kale myself. it has tenderness of Dino but the vigor and strength of Winterbor. winterbor adds some cold hardiness too
@@BubbleBeet I eat a lot of kale but really dislike washing the tight curled leaves of the Blue Curled Vates. Although I love the taste. I have not had any luck growing the Dino Kale. I love the more flat open leaves of your cross. Someone needs to sell seeds for that...hint, hint
5'56”what is that small light?
Can you tell me where you got the kale cross seeds please. Thanks
hi, i saved seeds from my homegrown kale years ago. happened to end up crossing the Winterbor with the Tuscan Dino. Maybe one year i'll grow a big seed batch and sell packs. Its the best kale ive ever seen or tasted.
@@BubbleBeet That's cool man. Your garden looks great. Have a great summer
@@BubbleBeet End of season let a couple go to seed, but, crap you know that lol
i cant believe you did that ... gonna have to stop watching the channel ... kale smoothie .. blah .. just kidding .. would miss Squeek that cat
That’s a massive amount of greens !!! 🥬 now you can put out a couple lines on the table and snort that stuff!
