Bulbs can sprout with no light if they think the conditions/seasons are right. My Caladiums start off in a drawer 😅 Once they start growing they will need substrate and light Im just talking bulbs in general, since I don’t have the one you have Also ofc congrats 🥂
My pink spot begonia is huge! It just started popping out tons of new growth when I kept fertilizing it with GH bloom fert and it started off smaller then the one you have and now I can actually see the pink spots more. Just wait it will get better 💕 😊
Congratulations to you and Joe all the best for a happy future together. You were wondering about your Rex begonia I think it could be a tiger paws if you put it in a light position it will be red with green.
I'm new to your channel and I've been binge watching your vids I'm thoroughly enjoying your channel, keep up the good work! Congratulations to both of you on your wedding 🎉
Hi Emma ❤ Congratulations, Mrs!!! Missed your update videos but also growing season has been starting up here in the southern hemisphere so getting my planty experience that way 😊
Congrats ”Wife” (and husband)! Your wedding goodies were lovely and so you. I’m glad it was a magical experience for you 🥰 With the Thanksgiving cactus you could try just laying it on top of the soil. I always find them like that with roots in the shop and it’s a good way to not give them extra moisture. It also looks like it was under a lot of other leaves. Try putting it in a brighter spot to inspire it to grow. I had some with roots that weren’t doing anything until I moved them to a brighter spot. Good luck 🍀
The cactus will hopefully grow roots from the smaller paddle between the two of them. You don’t need to cut the other off but maybe trim off any rot. Leaving the big paddle on helps there not be a place for rot to start.

Congratulations on your wedding!! ❤❤ I find with alocasia that the longer the stem gets above the substrate, the less leaves it has. I’m not sure if that’s just me? But I live in New Orleans so we have exhausting heat and humidity and it still happens to me if I don’t chop it.
@@GoodGrowing I actually watched a video yesterday that made me realize more about this. I think it’s because in order to have more leaves, it needs more roots. Which I find roots won’t produce if it’s above the substrate, and if it does they end up dying. Just watched the wedding vlog and omg I cry. So magical.
Awwww, a huuuuge congratulations to you newlyweds 🎉🎉 I'm so happy for you. Wishing you both the very, very best for the future. I can't wait to see the highlights on your vlog channel 🤗🤗🤗
Hello the "wife". :) We've missed you! October has been gloomy and chilly here, and honestly, I’m kind of looking forward to the plants slowing down a bit, haha! Your Polly looks fabulous, by the way. With your Regale growing so far out of the pot, you could probably propagate another plant from it! Loving the updates-congratulations on everything!
I know what you mean about missing your cat! We were out of the country for 3 weeks earlier this year and all I wanted to do every night was cuddle my kitty!
Hi Emma congrats 🥂 to you both. Love your ring combo. You did mention you wanted one to combine with your engagement ring. Welcome to the Mrs club. Wow that Euphoria White Ghost looks amazing still on my wish list and the variegated Ingens Euphoria aswell.
Congratulations on getting married! Wish you all the luck and happiness ☺🌈 I feel you on the lack of light, both me and my plants are getting sadder and sadder with every dark and rainy day 😅 also can I ask where are your necklaces from? I love the one with the black stone 😍
Huge congratulations on your wedding and marriage 🥂❤ What kind of predatory mites do you use? I’ve tried Orius, but I see a few, the day after I sprinkle them on the soil of the plants, and then nothing. I released 700 nymphs and adult mites, and they are supposed to readily colonise and multiply, but it’s a n Orius ghost town here.
thanks!! so orius aren't mites, but adult thrip killers and once they've tackled the adult thrip population they'll die off, so less useful in a preventative way. The mites I use are amblyseius cucumeris from here ladybirdplantcare.co.uk/?ref=goodgrowing
.. Your Begonia is a Begonia Rex "Black Mamba" .. .. Your Begonia Coralina will grow taller and bloom when she's happy.. My Coralina is as tall as me, 162 cm, and many of her leaves are as big as my face.. They can drop most every leaf they have when winter.. Just leave her where she is in her window, keep giving her water and when February she will come back to life..
@@GoodGrowing I moved mine from my bedroom window (West facing) where there was no shade at all.. It was more pale and leggy than anything.. Then I sat her i my living room, in front of the one door to my garden (West facing) where a part of my porch is shaded by a balcony from upstairs.. And she is thriving so much she grew new stems from bottom and new big beautiful leaves all the way on her stems, even blooms during summer.. I will leave her there since she's so happy 🤗
How long have you had the Alocasia Amazonica Polly? I read that this plant sometimes drips moisture from its leaves, which can damage the floor. I was wondering if you've experienced that too-does moisture come from the leaves? I’d love to get that plant, but I don’t want it to cause any issues. You have a beautiful collection, feel free to film it again sometime, it's fun to see!
I've had it for 5 years now. It does drip moisture after watering but that is totally normal. I've personally not had any issues with it on the desk there warping the wood. and thanks 🥰
Congratulations, sooo happy for you!!!💚😻💚
thank you 🥰
