Is a new Standalone Map and Mod centering around the Dutch East Indies in early 1942
The Mod incorporates a number of new ships and a new map with two campaigns of the Dutch East Indies:
Allied Campaign - The ABDACOM Defensive.
Japanese Campaign - Centrifugal Offensive.
ABOUT THIS GAME
1942: The world is at war
The Japanese Empire expands throughout the Pacific where Allied forces attempt to halt its spread. A desperate struggle for control of the Solomon Islands is now underway.
How will you protect your transports as they deliver troops and supplies in the South Pacific? Will you deploy precious aircraft carriers to provide air cover? Do you screen the area with submarines? Or attempt to lure the enemy navy into a decisive surface engagement?

i wish there was a mode to increase the submarines time to fire the deck gun as the crew have to get up to the deck then unsecure the gun to aim it the load then fire but cant complain as i enjoyed the video.

Would have thought that S class's crew would have been able to escape as the depth of water didn't look too bad. I mean that isn't accounted for in game but I didn't expect her to get crushed when the bottom was right there.
It doesn't take much to crush a tin can like an S-class if the hull integrity is sufficiently compromised.
"Soya Badger"? Sounds like a fusion Chinese English dish. Does it come with chips? "Sura Buyer" on the other hand sounds more like a Javanese city name...
Didnt you have a sub that could lay mines ? If its still floating could we see some mine action....couldve worked out well dropping some infront of that last battle hroup..
I really enjoyed how you played this campaign, and in hindsight I believe the Empire of Japan truly underestimated their air wing. I know a lot of gamers who have done lets plays will fight naval battles and I find it boring. It’s not a 100% but very close to precision attacks, and if you can take squad of aircraft and sink the Allies shipping and if not cripple it. Why not? Also I don’t believe the Japanese kept up with upgrading their aircraft, they became to over confident with their technology and skills.
Much like the sniper, you use snipers to demoralize the enemy troop. What if a sniper killed Major Winters or Spier’s (B.o.b). When key figures are killed it changes the outcome. Lt. Dike might take over and kill all of Easy Company. The same can be said with the dive bombers, torpedo bombers and fighters. Use everything to your advantage and exploit them. If they bomb and destroy USS Yorktown, Hornet and / or Yorktown, would the battle of Midway swayed differently. Remember the allies killed Yamamoto, I argue that because of this, the navel fell on less competent admirals. Which caused IJN make more blunders than successes.
I don’t remember the source but I seen a documentary that stated the Japanese had several disadvantages, such as damage control teams. On American Navel vessels they trained everyone on fire suppression. The Japanese created teams, what if those teams got killed? The Americans and / or its allies also worked together with other branches. Japanese military branches were at odds with each other. Also although Japan conscripted foreign units they always treated them subpar. If they united the Asian countries against its foreign colonists they would have more allies, men would volunteer, and the countries would supply the Japanese war effort more freely.
Very nice edit. But somewhere on YT I came across of a WOTS video showing a German Surface raider in the Pacific but lost the link, anyone seen this? Did the producers of this game really include a German ship?
In a mod. Someone modded in German ships among other things. I suspect I’ve seen the same video you have, sadly we don’t have an Atlantic or Mediterranean campaign yet for those ships to show up!

I'm very sad the lack of air cover for allied fleets even when they have a carrier. The AI isn't up to task.
