To make way for the new, we have to let go of the old.
When we occupy a space for a while, our energy moves into every nook and cranny.
In time, it often gets stuck there.
And parts of us gets stuck there too.
The simple act of moving our stuff around can help us get unstuck and free us up to move forward.
Sometimes it’s hard to let go of the stuff that belonged to the one we loved who has moved on…and in doing so, let that shit go.
Perhaps it’s hard because it’s simply not yet time.
Or maybe it’s hard because we are terrified of what we might find in ourselves and in the world around us should we let that shit go too.
But in letting go we make room for new life to emerge, for ourselves to expand into the space formerly occupied by those we shared it with.
For a loyal one like myself, this feels hard.
It also feels liberating.
And absolutely essential.
So we’ll keep on keeping on until each nook and cranny has been attended to and transformed anew.
