i found a bed at the very top of a ridge and on both sides there are patches of oak trees and i know thats their food sources because i see the trails going to them. one is on the SE side of the ridge and the other is on NW side and in the SW direction 300 yards away is a gravel road. do you believe its safe to say they travel to one of those oak patches depending on the wind direction so its facing their direction? what im thinking about is coming from the opposite side of the ridge and setting up by the bed when they’re at the food source and that way my wind blows behind me
Been stomping around zone 2 since I was a kid with my old man. He’s got a nice 10, a 8, and a 9 mounted. All public land bucks. Damnit man thinking back makes me miss the old check stations more and more.
Good luck this season brother!
