• Operation of tires at low pressure increases the heat generated in the tire which can shorten tire life and increase the possibility of heat related tire failure.
Never drive at speed on an under inflated tire.
• Operation of tires at low pressure can cause unstable handling characteristics at speed. Never drive at speed on an under inflated tire.
• Operation of tires at low pressure increases the deflection of the tire. Impacts with objects, even in the intended tread area, can more easily deflect the tire
causing wheel contact, resulting in bending and damage to the wheel. Never drive at speed on an under inflated tire.
WARNING: Working on pressurized systems is an inherently dangerous activity and extreme caution should be used. Never remove or install retention pins
when the tire is under pressure. Always use appropriate safety devices and protective gear when working with a tire under pressure.

Great looking wheel. Why not machine the bolt holes to use countersunk bolts ? I don't like the idea of reg bolt heads that someone could easily come by and loosen a few while the vehicle is parked. Then you jump in and drive off and have a flat. Or if someone removes a few bolts altogether, you would have to carry spares.

Icon: This is a great idea but why didn't you do 2 rows of screws for both the inner and outer bead?

Almost all tire de-beading scenarios are from the outer bead unseating from the rim. This is because the vehicle transfers weight (force) to the outer side of the wheels when cornering or when on a side hill. In these scenarios, the tire is most likely to unseat from the outer bead. A traditional beadlock often captures the outer bead because that is where majority of the force is applied.
Also, the inner portion of a wheel (in off-road sizes) is often close to the brake caliper. Additional features on this portion of the wheel would require a larger diameter which would limit tire options, vehicle applications, side wall height, etc.

@@iconvehicledynamicstv Hutchinson does it. You still have to go to a tire store to put the tire on the wheel. Not trail friendly. I think It’s a good work around for a possible DOT wheel don’t get me wrong. We will see what real world usage brings. Way to think outside the box though I’ll give you that.
