One of the great, 'lost' New Wave classic singles. Transfer Affection shows just how sophisticated AFOS was by the time they got to recording "Listen". Great tune; great arrangement; and, as ever, Reynold's guitar is utterly mesmerising.
Here in Valencia, we were lucky to live the 80's with them, Wishing, Space ang and love, Transfer affection, Never again... and of course, The more you live, then more you love & I Ran. In discotheques like Spook Factory and Espiral they made them immortal.
Can't believe how overlooked this band is as a whole. 3 songs maybe made commercial success but they have so many beautiful songs that just went unnoticed and I'm 25. I wasn't even alive when they were pumping these out
They were so much more than "I Ran". You go into the deep cuts and lesser known singles and there are real gems. I'm almost twice your age, but I welcome you into the awesomeness that is AFOS. I've loved these guys since their heyday and always will.
