I am completely with you on the FnF series. That last scene is the end for me. No more. I was at the premier of the first movie in Orlando, FL at CityWalk in Universal Studios. They had cars from Japan (RHD Sylvias, Skylines, RX7's etc) on display, in 2001 this was unheard of in the USA, and it was just a huge event overall. Theater was sold out. There were people watching from the stairs! Luckily we had pre purchased our tickets and arrived early at will call and did not have to wait. We all left the theater, and hit the streets racing around Orlando and the surrounding highways. Amazing part of my life that led me to later modify and race cars, motorcycles, and just about anything with wheels or a motor. Sad at what it has become now that they have gone so far away from the roots of what the series was.
