Followed this band since the beginning, and even interviewed them back in '95. They've been nothing but a class act, with a debut album even they couldn't touch since. Truly sad to see them take their final bow, but too damn happy to get this one last album. Well done gentlemen; true doom heads shall miss thee!
The Ethreal Mirror has pretty much stayed my favorite since I bought it 20 years or so ago. After that, it's Forest of Equilibrium, Carnival Bizarre, Supernatural Birth Machine or The Garden of Unearthly Delights.
Been following Cathedral since day one. Truly under appreciated band. Always stuck to their guns, always consistent/rewarding great song-writing & lyricism. It's sad to see them go but it sounds to me like they are going out with a bang! This sounds heavy as fuck, nice & 'electric' which is exactly what I was hoping for...Can't fucking wait!
Fuck i love Cathedral, sad to see them call it quits but what a legacy they leave. one of the heaviest and most under appreciated bands of all time. long live doom ! long live cathedral!
As good as anything that t hey created prior. A sad day will arrive once this album drops, the end of the line shall have then occurred for Cathedral, RIP.
it seams that people had finally learned about cathedral and started to appreciate their art. is so ironic that is is going to be their last album :(( great shit is never enough.
Yes sir, fully aware when the change from slo-mo doom to this abhorrent "stoom" a lot of people fell for. Forest of equilibrium still stands as my all time favourite album, The Ethereal mirror was a classic but forest will always be my go to album. To be honest, I lost interest after ethereal mirror, just one of them things that happen.
he did way more for/with napalm. what about "from enslavement to obliteration" and "mentally murdered"? with "scum", make three nd classics, best what they ever done. not that i have anything against barney, he's one of the best today and always was, but i like that era of napalm more. with that crusty punk grindcore feel. lee dorian is KING.
Russia I never was taste the black seeds I think I like it. The fish that I brought in the Russian store is kinda salty but the salchichas looks so white as many Russians that for a moment came a thought that meat could be like a human. Hahaha I never was eating a pink more like a white hotdog
Uhhmmm.....alright man. I guess you have a point. I just dont personally enjoy the vocals that much. Yes, they are "fine" I suppose.....have a nice life.

Sad to see them go. They've been like an old friend. Saw them on the campaign for musical destruction when no one understood. Salute...
Can't stop listening to this song.
Got to see Cathedral in August 2011 Czech Republic. Excellent concert. \m/
Was on from enslavement to obliteration as well. Bought forest the day it come out and was shocked in how different his vocal was. Awesome.

Cathedral 4 life!
I just ordered the double vinyl edition of the album from the Metal Blade store. They are the masters of doom metal!
That's some cool artwork.

This sounds massive. Triple tracked guitars. Looking forward to the album.

Love those Tony Iommi riffs. So do Cathedral!

Kicks ass! remind me a little bit the heaviness of Crowbar.
Also Teeth of Lions Rule the Divine - Legendary!
Lee was the 3rd Vocalist for Napalm playing on side b of scum
Yeaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!
freaking LEE DORIAN! The dudes a legend.
I was looking for that kind of band. Absolutely going to be a good year for doom :)
Mass Appeal.. just had the "Mentally Murdered" EP at the end of the disc(Lee sang on that MM ep)
Metal', I like it heavy!!!
New Sabbath, Church of Misery and Cathedral. It's looking like it might be a good year for doom.
muy buena rola de cathedral..
I've got the same Never Say Die '78 Tour Black Sabbath T-shirt as in 0:10 :)
from where can i pirate this album? :D
big guitar sound i like it \m/
Doom for ever!!!!!!!!!!
Nice song
he was also on from enslavement to obliteration and harmony coruption
Yes, I fucking love that fact. :D
😍😍😍😍
it's sad that this is there last Album :(
Its good. The vox doesnt match though(imo). I dont mean it needs to be a scream, I just was expecting something different vocally I guess.
Heard the word twilight, died inside
bonitos dibujos...
New? ^^
Oh lol. Thanks for the info.
Doom?
no bill steer was the guitar player who is now in carcass
Why would you die inside after hearing the word twilight?

six hundred and sixty six thumbs up ! heavy fucking metal!
Not the original though, Nik Bullen was on the first side of Scum and found the band
Oh, thanks, from Russia, of course :D
But i was just kidding :D
Its to be expected, they are english and heavy.

definitely better than Guessing Game
The sound of the drum could be better for a great band like that
great song and it's a shame you choosed to split out
Hmm....yes and maybe with a little more grit.
заебаново!!!
united-metal(DOT)Ru ...as in Russia
From enslavement to obliteration and some mass appeal madness not harmony corruption.
Would have been better with an older style lower range lee Dorian vocals. At any rate RIP
Not bad.
Stopped listening to cathedral a few years ago, didn't like the "stoner" directon they were taking.

for years ive ignored this band (bangs head agains wall for the next ten years for being a prick)
