I get it, I figure that another’s actions allowed us to find our van - we are happy to do the same for a limited time.

It’d be great to see how you go renting it out.
I don’t like the fact that I have an asset sitting down the side of my house that could be earning me $$’s. I’ve just got to get over my hang up of some one else sleeping in my bed

You can do it! We have 3 bookings already and it’s out as we speak. We’ve hired vans for the past 18 months without issue. Ours is a couples van for those people who are capable and responsible - stuff can go wrong I’m sure, insurance and due diligence is key. Your van is no different to a hotel if you’re an occasional user. Look at it another way - anyone who rents your van is buying a privilege to get out there and see the country side. If your van is tough enough and in excellent order the less worries you have.

They're not sleeping in your bed, but on it, in their sheets.......
The main problem is, some people don't pay attention when you're informing them how things work....
Can earn you money, but may earn you grief also....

So do we need a RAM to be able to tow it?

No, it’s light but can be loaded to 3.5T, so something that can tow 3.5T and be able to handle the normal ball weight on the rear axle.
