@@Dilley_G45 I was thinking more of what kind of people they are rather than what they looked like. They could be rapists or murderers or con artists. I went to church with a woman who met a man on-line and married him. He was a thief and a con artist and used her and our preacher literally told him to get out of town!!
This will help teach my daughter how to see why this is so important to learn so she can protect herself from these bad people.
I am a teen trauma therapist. Over and over again, my clients will be manipulated into sending their boyfriends nudes of themselves. This leads to blackmail for sex. If a girl tells her parents and the parents call the cops. The boy ALWAYS gets off. Why? Because the police tell the girl and her parents that if they press charges against the boy, that the girl will be guilty of creating and distributing child pornography when the only thing she has done was to TAKE NUDES OF HERSELF AND SEND TO HER BOYFRIEND. This is the response of law enforcement at least in my State. I have gone around the world with several different agencies trying to advocate for my clients and I get told the same thing as if it makes perfect sense. It is enraging because the boy is empowered to keep doing it to as many girls as he wants because the police will do nothing unless the teen victim is willing to be charged with the creation and distribution of child pornography for her OWN pictures she was manipulated into taking!!!

Parents need to teach there there girls the consaquince of this.
The way you approach your child talking to someone secretive is the most delicate dance I’ve seen. If they think you are mad at them, or that they are in trouble ie: “I’m the parent I have the right to know!” they will become a lot more secretive, and things get really really bad. I just suggest to tread gently for that part. From personal experience. ❤️

Another note to add; Traffickers / Recruiters can spend years grooming your child from a young age into the consenting age of 18. Once they reach the age of consent, there will be NO HELP for them! Cops won't help, human trafficking organizations WON'T help! even your friends and family members will give up eventually! Age of consent rules are extremely dangerous in these cases. My niece was groomed at age 15. We didn't realize what was going on until age 24!!! We don't know if we'll ever save or see her again! She's been sold now.

My granddaughters are 13 & 15 and both post on Tik Tok. A lot. The 13-year-old has made some very sexuaized bideos with inappropriate comments. I let my daughter know... she hasn't watched over them as she should.
My granddaughter was so angry with me that she blocked me. I sent her a message telling her that I know she's angry but it's because I love her so much that I had to do something. I used the analogy that it was like she ran out into traffic in Los Angeles at the age of 4, so I saved her. I told her that there's much in the world she doesn't know yet. She said thank you and I love you.
I get it. Girls start wearing make-up and their bodies change. She takes hip hop dance lessons and is very good. She's gorgeous, blonde hair & blue eyes. I told my daughter that I wouldn't be surprised if a rich pedophile already "bid" on her.
I research it all - pedophiles, trafficking, etc., so she learns from me. I'm very concerned. I shared your video with the three of them and pray she'll watch it with my granddaughters.

In the interest of oversharing I'll talk a bit about what happened to me. I'm gonna try and keep it as brief as possible because it still affects me. It was never in person. And it happened on two seperate occasions. One where I was being homeschooled in 6th grade. I didn't want to be homeschooled in the first place as I was being dragged from my then friends. My parents were seperated and dad didn't want me in public school in the city my mom lived in. My admittedly stupid goal was to fail homeschooling so badly they'd just let me go back. So I used the school computer to play games online instead of schoolwork. I met a guy and he started hounding me for inappropriate pictures and unfortunately I had already fallen. It only ended because of my stupid plans success and in a way my own stupidity saved me from further damage that time. The second time my mother moved to a safer neighborhood due to the bathroom litteraly falling through the floor and into the basement. I was in 8th grade and I was once again ripped from my then friends only this time I got to go to school. I didn't know anyone and so I once again turned to gaming on a computer my dad had recently gotten me. This time I made online friends and even met a guy that I soon fell for. He also hounded me for inappropriate photos. I confided in one of the girls in the group about this and she quickly put a target on my back. The friend group was me, her, her best friend irl, a boy our age and 5 other adult men. The groomer was not apart of that group. Almost instantly after telling her everyone knew and I started getting disgusting messages from many of the older men in the group. The only friend I retained was the boy. I later lost contact with him after my mom went though the computer, called the cops and it was found that the groomer pretending to be 16year old boy was actually a 30year old man from India. It was a whole lot and I'm still processing even years later. This stuff even if it doesn't get to the in-person part is still mentally scarring.
Too bad we no longer have a society arranged in such a way that people who care about their safety are allowed to protect themselves. The fact that we no longer have a formal dating culture where people can safely check each other out and have their rights respected or their life honored in any way whatsoever. Including colleges and work environments. Everything is set up in a way to make it easy and quick for people who are dirtbags to take advantage of whoever they choose. We are forced to go to random parties where just whoever might be planning something nefarious and if you show up and don’t drink and loosen up you are made to feel like some overcautious old maid stick in the mud. These people who did this to our society knew exactly what they were doing. They are at fault. They should be confronted, but that is no longer possible. It has gone too far. I encourage girls or boys to adopt an extremely blunt communication style and just comment on all you are observing. That is about the only thing that might stop con artists or other bad people. Letting them know you are awake and aware. But that will likely make them angry and physically aggressive as well. Glad I am no longer young. ❤😮❤

You should really talk about the BDSM Lifestyle, Petplay, and Ddlg being normalized through LGBTQ and those Lifestyles are being used by Sex Traffickers to lure underage girls, like normalizing choking during sex. The Normalization of hyper dominant male partners from the media from movies like 50 Shades and again pushing the BDSM lifestyle on teenagers is fueling it. And then Suicide Girls trying to normalize drug addicts in pin ups is also influential. Pair that all together with the Opioid Epidemic it's a Conspiracy no one person could cook up, but it's all real and funneling teenagers into sex trafficking every day. I would say Japanese Anime is contributing because Prostitution is big in their Culture.

Be very cautious, and certainly never do that again. BUT, if you ever find that they are trying to use that picture to intimidate you or make you feel like you can not talk to anyone, this is a popular scare tactic and you should talk to someone immediately.
You can search yourself on-line. Contact any site with your address and tell them you want it removed.

It is a social media type app, by the way. You meet people from around the world who speak your target language and try to learn from them/ teach your language.
What does their vetting process look like?
In general, If you’re being safe online and not sharing any personal details (where you live, where you attend school or work etc.) That is the safest approach. And I would be careful not to build personal relationships with strangers. Sometimes on social media it’s easy to forget that we don’t actually KNOW the person we are talking to.

I'm a Nana but I remember very clearly when I was a tween and teen, plus I'm computer savvy and I keep up with the "real" news in the world - not Mainstream Media, which is 90% owned by 6 corporations. The "newscasters" all get the same talking points at 4 a.m. every day. That's not news, that's manipulation and control. I have a list of well-researched sources that I use.
Social media like Tik Tok is another control program and encourages self promotion, which changes the whole dynamic of learning and developing into the person you want to be. Too many lonely kids trying to promote themselves rather than become themselves.
Plus, the minute something is posted online it is automatically recorded by the U.S. NSA - emails, messages, pictures & phone calls - they have it all. Tik Tok is one of the worst programs for kids. Employers pay cyber experts to research the online presence of job applicants, so it can affect you into the future.

I called the police I even showed them drawings my daughter drew when she was 8. One drawing is sad little girl eyes covered with her bangs on top of page says SEX. Second drawing is a picture a little girl hanging herself with a rope. On top of page it says ME
My daughter is 12 now. It was very disturbing to see those drawings very scary. I showed police and she showed indifference like it was nothing. No investigation no help. I feel devastated this is torture! I pray to God that she was not molested that my intuition is wrong but what if she did I would like to get her help asap to start the healing process I wouldn't want her suffering in silence alone! I'm a survivor of child sexual abuse I know what that's like I remember thinking it was my fault. Not till I was an adult I found out I was innocent. Please tell me what you think of those drawings and that officer that showed no empathy and what suggestions you may have. :(

In a perfect world, it would be fine, but ultimately, I don't think it's best. I chatted with people online and on social media in college and didn't think anything of it until I started learning what I now know about Trafficking. I look back now and I am so so grateful nothing bad happened. I don't want people to be fearful, but at the same time, we have just found that almost all teen victims are found on social media platforms, or in online chat rooms.
