- Hurricane Milton made landfall as a dangerous Category 3 storm near Siesta Key in Sarasota County at approximately 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. The storm brought devastating rains and damaging winds across the state, knocking out power to more than 2.2 million customers. According to the Thursday 5 a.m. advisory from the National Hurricane Center, Milton is moving off the east coast of Florida with maximum sustained winds of 85 mph, moving northeast at 18 mph.
No power outage Boynton Beach. Bye Milton. Thank God!
How hard is it to show the path Milton took across the state at a scale that people can see what towns were hit, and what speed the wind blew in each area?
Milton is almost gone now, we want to see where it went, who got hit, and what it did.
We have relatives there, show us if they got blasted or not.
This is not rocket science so you people look silly for not providing this information.

If you don't live in Florida as I do, or on the coast, what you may not appreciate is that the storms are always ultra-hyped by the media. You look at these radar shots of these giant storms moving across the state and assume there is massive damage across the state- there isn't. If you have relatives- just call them.

So the predicted worst storm in 5 centuries turned out to be just a regular ole hurricane

Guys this is going to be a record breaking historically windy day. Please be careful out there. This wind we are gonna see today will be unlike any wind we have ever seen . Expect catastrophic wind gusts of epic proportions. I fear some things might get blown away in such chaotic and hurricanatic winds

I'm in Orlando and power never went out in our area. Where are you located in Orlando? Only heard power outages as far as Riverview
Try going without power for 4 days with minus 15 degrees outside, 45 degrees inside and all you got is a gas stove burner to take the chill off. NO water cause you have a well and it's an ice storm outside. You'll be fine

I just woke up from the best sleep I've had this year during this storm. I am shocked by how little rain we had in SWFL. I went to bed to strong wind gusts but right it is very calm with light breeze

I'm Norwegian and I'm on holiday in Tampa, I'm disappointed by how weak the wind has been. In Norway we have much stronger winds than this puzzle hurricane Milton. There was a bit of flapping in the palm leaves, then it was quiet
