Ive played this awesome game since 2012 but only have made it to this point about a year or so ago. It was so magical to finally make it to the game's end! I really want to replay this entire game again one day since I love it so much!
I started this game in 2014, ever since then I stopped playing it because I had to focus on life stuff, Later on I found my 3ds in my drawer collecting dust, so I cleaned it off and booted it up, still worked fine, just needed to charge. I noticed I haven’t reached special world 8 yet, so I did that, and I got every collectible with Mario and Luigi, In the end I unlocked the secret level and I beat it with Mario and Luigi, This happened on 2024 And I haven’t touched it since 2014 …. ….im crying ❤
This game was so affective at making a final world actually feel like a final world Rather than something super energetic or something, it’s calming, like a soft message thanking you for playing so much, and congratulating you for making it this far.
Man this takes me back. Over 10 years ago in 2011 I got my first job at K-Mart and the first thing I bought was a 3DS that came with 3D Land installed already. Good times...
THIS is how you make completion music! Truly gives me nostalgia for this game. Its the perfect music to send this game off to, and the fact that its a reference makes it even better! I know that this game isnt all that spectacular, but it still holds a special place in my heart. B)
Pretty much like the top comment, this is the last theme I heard from this game before losing the cartridge while moving up and I was never able to find it back 😭
Don't let this music fool you, behind it has the most difficult levels ever with the cosmic clones and timed levels. There's only one normal level here.
I just got this on super mario 3d land after a long journey of trying to get it and playing it for nostalgia resons and after I heard this I was so happy
One thing i admire is how it feels still keeps the "final world" feel yet in a different way using a "Jackson 5 - I want you back" type beat rather than a "Gates of Hell" type beat.

I remember beating this game 100 Percent. I still have my copy of this game. I also think this game is better than 3D World. (Clear all courses as Mario & Luigi, Get to the top of the flag pole every single course, find all secret exits (2), and beat every level in general)

I remember my mom picking me up on a hour long drive, and it happened over and over, to the point where I 100% it. Looking back, I am 13 and I still can't get over the game
My sister took back her 3DS, thankfully I 100% completed Super Mario 3D Land and New Super Mario Bros. 2 before so. I was planning on 100% completing Mario Kart 7 though so that kinda sucks but it’s whatever.
For some reason I get really sad when I listen to this.Its probably because I miss the good ol days of the 3ds
