I really enjoy your videos. you have such a nice way of explaining the details of your projects and your work is so beautiful. Thanks for another great episode!
Hi what a lovely podcast, I have just found your podcast and and really enjoyed it, I have been knitting for nearly 70 years and still make mistakes so don’t worry about that, it’s all part of knitting , and I also agree with you, it’s not a cheap hobby, I get fed up with people using expensive wool, I can’t afford, it’s so nice to hear someone else’s saying that, I don’t feel so bad now, looking forward to your next podcast, blessings from Scotland
Hello! I'm so happy to hear that such an experienced knitter has enjoyed hearing about my little projects. I can get fed up sometimes when I hear about yarns I could never afford . Lots of people thought I was being thrifty when I started knitting (how wrong were they!) It is such a beautiful hobby though - I am truly hooked :) Thanks for your lovely comment.
A little tip for knitting several stitches together for your bag: use a crochet hook. Insert it as you would the knitting needle and pull the yarn toward you. Should you worlds easier than knitting!
So nice to see you back 😊 I think that seeing the FO on a person is very helpful, so I appreciate you taking your time to do a bit of posing to give us some idea of how it sits on the body.
It is a lovely yarn! I'm ashamed to say that it is still in its project bag until I manage to get my hands on another skein - hopefully in the next few weeks.
Thank you very much, Marie. It's funny you should say that about my voice because I have always been slightly self-conscious about it - but doing this podcast is helping me get over that. Have a lovely weekend!
I'm so glad you're enjoying it . Still a work in progress, but it's so much fun to have somewhere to chat about knitting, isn't it? ps. I love the colour of your Cinch Me Top!
So beautiful podcast ! I really love your vest, you wear it so great ! I also like to see images from Rome, it’s remember my trip in 2019. Léonie from Québec city Canada 🤍
Thank you! It's such a great pattern. I was a little worried after the first block, but am quite happy with it now. Rome is very beautiful, and I'm excited to see it with fall colours. I'm sure Quebec must be lovely and give you lots of chance to wear your knits - I've always wanted to see Canada!
Really enjoy your podcast! It must take you a long time to get it all together - I think you only appreciate how much work it is once you film podcasts yourself 🤣 I am getting more and more convinced I need a vest. If you use interchangeable needles, you could try a size smaller on your left hand needle - personally find that it really speeds up my knitting as it’s quicker to catch stitches, though the linen yarn is probably hard to work with! Louise behind MFTK should be easy to contact - there’s a Facebook group that she is quite active in (also in case you get stuck again).
Oh my goodness - thank you so much for your lovely comment. I adore your podcast!! You should go for it with a vest. They are quick but so cute. It was quite a bit of work to make (as you know) but I really enjoy doing them and find I struggle to find the right words, so the little clips can help me show what I mean. Thanks for the great tips. I will have to check out the Facebook group soon as I love all of her work.
Hello! The designer is called My Favourite Things Knitwear - there is a link in the description to her website. I knit mine in Laines du Nord Eco Baby and Drops Kidsilk, using approx. 800 meters of both (maybe around 900 of the merino). And I used 4.5 and 4mm needles. Hope that helps and I'm so glad you like it!

Hello! I'm so glad you find it helpful. I do feel slightly silly doing it, but it's easier sometimes to show what I mean while I talk about it.

Hi Karoline! Could I have the name for the Facebook group? I can't find it...
I love your vest! What pattern, needle size yarn and amount, who is the designer, please.
