    The Disney Park Pass reservation system was implemented inside the My Disney Experience App with the reopening of the Walt Disney World parks in 2020, after four months of being closed. With the Disney Park Pass Reservation system in place, Disney had the ability to control crowds while the parks were at very limited capacity, but I think Disney came up with something that isn't going anywhere for a long time to come. In this video I am answering the What, Who, When, Where and How of the Disney Park Pass Reservation system.
    First, what is the disney park pass reservation system? Simply put, it is a tool for you to use to reserve your spot at a single Walt Disney World theme park on a Single day of your trip.
    The next question is, who needs a park pass reservation? The answer is Anyone who needs to purchase a ticket to enter a Walt Disney World theme park.
    After that, you need to know When you need a disney park pass reservation. That is any time you are entering your first park for the day. The rule is this, You need to make one reservation, for one specific park, on one specific day.
    Finally, let's talk about Where you can make Disney park pass reservations? Any of the four Walt Disney World Theme Parks require you to have a Reservation, this includes Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot, and Hollywood Studios. Where a Reservation is not required are places like resorts, obviously, Disney Springs, or Water Parks.
    In the video I cover how to make a park pass reservation using the My Disney Experience app on both a desktop computer, your phone, or your tablet.

    Good upload. I am from the UK. I take it that the first thing that I will need to do either on the website or app is to buy my tickets first and from there reserve the particular dates just for the tickets. Once that is done I will then need to go into the Reservations as you have shown here and then hopefully be able to make the individual reservations for the day. Also I wondered if it was possible to just make the Reservations and then pay for the tickets at the park gates either prior or on the actal date if that is possible. Many thanks to you.

      Thanks so much for checking out the video, and really excited that you got value out of it. Yes, you do have to have your tickets purchased, and linked to your My Disney Experience account before you are able to make a park pass reservation. I am working on a video about how to link your tickets next because it isn't possible to make a reservation without reservations without having a valid ticket linked with your account unfortunately.
      Really appreciate you checking in all the way from the UK!

      Thanks for getting back to me Bear. I have travelled to Orlando many many times in the past and most of my theme park uploads are from the Florida parks in 4K and steadicams right back to 2012. I even uploaded a tutorial for using an ESTA form which is meant for travellers from the UK to USA which has quite a few thousand views, also Types of Transportation and prices to and from the main Parks in Orlando. This one however has somewhat stumped me a fair bit, usually I can fathom out the right ways around certain things and I guess I would eventually be able to work this one out, but it does sound reasonably complicated. That would be really good if you were able to work on a complete tutorial right through from downloading the Disney Experience APP either on the PC or a Smart Tablet/Phone etc, and then step by step what we will need to do in order to complete this particular task. I like the way you are explaining things here in this upload as you are very clear and I notice that you deliberately repeat certain parts in order to doubly make sure that wefully understand and that you didn't leave anything important out. Well done for this upload, these are the ones that can eventually start to get extreme ammounts of views. I have subscribed to your channel and will check it out. Thanks once again and keep up thje good work. Best wishes and kindest regards. Geoff Dean.

      Wow geoff! Thank you so much for all of this! And thank you for subbing. I actually am working on that exact video, it will be over an hour long and I am plannning it out and trying to do it the right way.
      So glad that all the work I put into these videos is appreciated, it really means a lot.
      I can’t wait to help with more videos, and again thanks so much for being part of this community

      Oh cool, thanks for that Bear Savvy. It doesn't matter if you can't get it exact but as long as it takes us through the process as if you were doing it for the first time yourself. I had a lot of fun putting the ESTA upload together and even more with the International Drive Transportation, which was something I had done so many times in the past taht I thoght it could be helpful for first time visitors, which it actually was. Looking forward to seeing this. Regards. Geoff from UK

    what if you change your mind and want to choose a different park pass reservation to a different day or a different park?

    • @BearSavvyTravels
      @BearSavvyTravels  Рік тому

      You can actually make or modify your reservation now. If you open your my disney experience app, and click the three lines in the bottom right corner, you can go to Future Plans. From there, you can select the park reservation, and this will open a web browser with that reservation. Click Modify reservation below, and then just follow the prompts to change parks, or choose a different day.

    my idiot friend, annual pass holders know everything for sure, you had better explain on tickets instead of annual passes

    • @BearSavvyTravels
      @BearSavvyTravels  10 місяців тому

      I wasn't sure at first if you're calling me an idiot, or if you're referring to your annual pass holder friends as idiots... either way, definitely not accepted here.
      I appreciate you sharing your opinion, but there is a right way and a wrong way to go about it. As for your feedback, the process is the same whether for annual passes, or those with regular tickets. Additionally, in January, you'll no longer need to make a reservation if you have just a regular day ticket so you can go ahead and disregard.
      I hope you have a better experience with other channels, and again appreciate you being here.

    We're seeing this "reservation" garbage all over the nation as more and more Parks try to copy and paste the Disney method however it's such a nightmare and easily recognizable as a covid hustle that parks are learning their lesson and bailing out of this poor strategy that clearly cost Disney millions they can write off on the books but likely gained them millions of dollars on the DL for information hustling🤔

      I actually enjoy the Reservation system. It makes it easier to know where to go and where to avoid. If all of the reservations for a park are taken for that day, I DO NOT want to be in that park anyway lol

      @@BearSavvyTravels id prefer to have the freedom to visit any area and not Fork over my private information... I'm an adult, I can decide if it's too crowded or not.

    • @BearSavvyTravels
      @BearSavvyTravels  Рік тому

      True, I just like having the ability to know if it is too crowded before even showing up, this way I can make plans to go some place else, and not waste time having to show up and see if it is too busy.
      Everyone has a different way of visiting, and I have enjoyed the reservation system. Luckily it is going a way in January of 2024, so hopefully you'll be happier visiting then

      That’s not what I said, I just said that I enjoy the reservation system… having this makes planning in my opinion much easier and less overwhelming for Walt Disney World… but that’s my opinion, and I am just happy that in January you will be able to visit the way you would more enjoy 😊 🙏
