    I was so scared to land my aerials because of my head hitting the ground, but I tensed myself up wind up into it and just commit as hard as I can. Now I can do it anytime anywhere. 😀 (Tricker btw not a gymnast)

      same looking at the ground so close wasn't assuring at all

      Silverwalls that's also my problem, I'm always so scared but don't know how to change it. I try to think positive but it doesn't work. O think I could do it into a foam pit but I'm not a gymnast and I don't have a foam pit at home...

    • @blanq9449
      @blanq9449 6 років тому +1

      Kaklimk kluwana Have the mindset of you landing the trick and go in giving it 100% every try, you should always remember that the full rotation is all in the pull that you do with your arms to get you around (works good for me) and keep your legs as straight as you can rotating yourself as hard as you can to get the full rotation axis and successfully landing on your feet.

    • @bangtan_sonyeondan8
      @bangtan_sonyeondan8 6 років тому +1

      Silverwalls I can imagine myself doing an aerial but nevertheless I can't do it. I think I could do it because I can take away my hands from the ground in the middle of my cartwheel. But I can't take them away at thr beginning because I'm scared. I'm still gonna try. And thanks for the tip with the arms!

    wow, I never new how hard a aerial could be for someone, this I am so good at since I was 5 but I am no wear near as good at his kicks and now I want to learn the b-twist but I am not as good at kicks like he is. Thank you for sharing your hardship and your perseverance. You inspired me to keep going as we all have our own challenges that can be overcame. Great job.

    I felt the joy when you were able to finally do it. Exactly how i felt when I practised my front walkover. Took me a couple of weeks since that needs more flexibility. The back walkover is much harder as you need to push your body more. Then progressed to multiple walkovers without much distance

      time the right leg kicking over at the peak then take off with the left legs give more lift, aerial doesn't need to be that high

      I got rid of how long I took to learn on my videos because I don't want people to feel like its a competition to learn. learning is done and a different pace for everyone, but the important thing is you don't give up after a few goes or a few months. Just keep trying you'll get it!

    It took me almost 3 MONTHS to get me side Aerial. At the beginning of the first 2 weeks I was already giving up because I saw no progress and i did practice EVERY DAY. And to keep me from giving up I always tell myself “If You want an Aerial Then WORK HARD FOR IT and eventually I did 😁 (right now I’m practicing for my middle splits to make the side Aerial even more perfect 👌)

    This is really cool that you have done this in little time. But you need to make your legs straighter cause it doesn't totally look like an aerial and it helps rotation and just makes it easier all together if you straighten your legs. I'm excited to see what more you can do in a couple day. Real Tallent!

    I'm a gymnast and just got my aerial, great job but my tips and to go back and work on improving your cartwheel so it's with straight legs and consistent, also to work on a good prep I know it's kinda hard when you are teaching yourself but I actually taught myself an aerial because it's a higher level than I am and I really wanted to get it, anyways I always take a few steps have a really big hurdle and push off the floor so I can get height and rotate to land it. 🤗😎😀 good job on getting your aerial!

    Wow! You got it so fast. NICE!
    My aerial definitely took longer than yours to develop. I had trouble hitting a 180 degree split mid-air.
    Apart from that, try improving your cartwheel and splits to straighten your legs, you might also even consider pointing your toes so you'll have a better form. ☺

  • @sunset7344
    @sunset7344 6 років тому

    I do gymnastics and here’s a few tips (don’t get offended)
    1.) that’s not a aerial, that’s a butterfly kick. An aerial, your body is straight but a butterfly kick your like bent
    2.) straighten your legs please. I know your more muscle than flexibility so it might be hard but you need to
    3.) point your toes. It gets you through the air quicker and keeps you balanced. Trust me.
    4.) when you do it, aerial or cartwheel. You don’t land sideways of how you started. You would land facing the opposite of where you started.
    5.) Don’t keep your arms straight down liek your going to touch the ground while doing the aerial. Keep your arms straight like when your standing and your arms are down straight, that’s where your arms should be, or bend them at your stomach and keep them there.
    Just some tips

    My suggestion is that you go into the aerial forward rather than from the did it will look better and it will be easier to straighten your legs

      this is more of a tricker's aerial which is a bit more side

    An aerial was easy for me to learn just UA-cam video and 3 attempts, a back handspring however took me a week to be able to land a shitty one and months to get it clean.

      AccomplishAnything you inspire me man. The fact you came back from that neck fiasco means a lot to me. I wish you prosperity.

    The only aerial I can do is an aerial and back walkover and I chin stand and headstand but that’s the impressive things

      I used to use a mini trampoline in the yard, also flipped off of things like couch or picnic table. be careful though I ended up with bad shinsplints, little stress fractures in the lower legs.
