So awesome Martin! Printed the BC-304 mk II last year and I absolutely love it, can't wait to print Prometheus in the future! Providing all of these well put together models for free is a true gift!
Incredible work. As an artist that has done work on the babylon 5 starfury for small scale, i love that you found a nice compromise between accuracy and practicality. Your work is incredible. thank you!
Nice. Finished my first 304 and was considering a 303 soon. Now I can do the new version from the off. Nice work. You are a gift for us less talented folk. Must have taken ages to get all those fine details worked out.
I have 6 printers currently manufacturing the 304, Atlantis, a 6ft model of the puddle jumper, and 2 ancient warships. All from your designs. Thanks for the work you've put into these models
@@martintaichl I'll probably post photos of the 6ft puddle jumper on my Instagram and X accounts and a couple modeling groups that I belong to on Facebook. it's going to take some time though as I have very little free time at the moment because of major contracts with 2 space agencies.
Your models are so beautiful! Would like a aurora class mk2 with lighting 😅. Just finished Atlantis. It was a long way with some pauses but it looks great.
hello, is it just me who is having a printing problem at the moment for parts 303_h and 303_h_m? the support prints well but for the parts it seems that there is not enough material arriving and therefore it does not stick
well finally the piece will not be finished either but there is a huge lack of material to the point where the last layers come off effortlessly from the previous layers like the last 1cm of material is detached by a lack of material, Has this happened to anyone else?
Hello Martin, thanks for the great model, I nominated it, as did you, because of all your great models. So, my English isn't that great, so here's a question about the video at 9:25 with the ramp, there have to be 6 pins in there because I can't find any to print for it or what kind of parts I need, as I said, English isn't that good good. Thanks in advance!
@@HellRacer1963 hello there. There are no pins. You are supposed to use simple toothpicks those serve as those pins. Also, i am not sure i understand. You said you nominated the model? Nominated for what?
Your models are amazing. I just found them and I’ve been downloading them all. Honestly if you charged for them I would pay easily. But the fact that you share them for free tells me you are truly passionate about your work. In saying that I have 2 questions. Would you consider doing ships from other series like Battlestar Galactica. And would you be willing to take a commission. There are a few ships I would pay for you to design!
Glad you like them. As for your questions. 1: maybe. certainly not right now as I just returned to the Stargate and intent to stay there for a while, but in the fututre, maybe. 2 - Well it all depends on what model that would be. In past I have done several modeling project so that would be nothing new for me.

I wasn't expecting to see this in my recommended today but I'm glad I was. Fantastic job on this!

thank you very much for your kind words ;)
Thanks for the toothpicks add on man! I drilled holes into my old Prometheus to add toothpicks. New model looks great! Might be printing that next!

lol nice I had just started looking at this model next for my collection
Magnifique 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍
Hi Martin firstly love love love all your models, I was wondering could you consider doing midway station with interior? that would be amazing
@@garryhollingdale3598 actually i was thinking about it. I dont say "i plan to do it" but i think it may be possible one day 😉

for part 303_h_m I placed the part differently on the board and it seems to be okay, it's strange isn't it?

Your work is excellent!! If i print the 303 at 100% size, will it be in scale with the 304? thanks!
@@stephanb2006 yep. My 303 and 304 are in scale to each other (you can see it by the fact they both use the same F-302s ;)
Greath updates!
Are you thinking on designing the alkesh or any Wraith ships?
Alkesh maybe. But Wraith ships are a big no no for me as i cant really do the organic stuff .. 😞
@@martintaichl I understand, great news nevertheless.
Super like all your work so far. 100% printing? Is it 45cm long or is it bigger?
The same as the original one
@@martintaichl Thank you for the answer

@@martintaichl how much would you ask for a commission?
@@calebdykes8166 i cant answer that. It all depends on what exactly would that model be.
@@martintaichl as an example. How about the Archangel from Gundam SEED. If you don’t know what that is a quick google search would show you.
@@calebdykes8166 oh.. i am sorry but I have honestly zero interest doing something like that. Let´s say I am not really a fan of anime/manga. Sorry.
