Carlton Leach was a very small part of Tony Tuckers life, but he’s made on he was a member of their ‘firm’. He’s got some neck saying ‘What about the families’ when he’s deliberately made money off the back of the Rettendon murders and then has a go at others for making money. He was a non-entity in the public eye until the film came out, stand fast a few appearances in some low budget documentaries.

I personally like these films and they’ve been the best best British films in a LONG time. Very entertaining and that’s what it’s all about. The cast is great and really makes the films good IMO!

Hang on. How did anyone have the rights to a story that was based on reality? These were not characters they were real people and everyone knew the Essex Boy’s story prior to Carlton Leach coming out and giving his side and selling a book?
People had made films on the Essex boys before, Carlton sold the rights to his own story.
If someone had written that film without buying any rights from Carlton first, then he’d have either been able to sue or stop it happening.
Stuff that’s fully public knowledge is another story, but even including someone’s additional story / perspective can’t be done without paying them for it.
Notice no-one’s published books on well known firms (some still about), as they’d (and have) just get sued
