To be fair, he was perfect as Pat Tate, same build, height etc couldn't imagine anyone else playing him
Idris Elba would have been a gooden
@@Sebastian-Tickleberry na
Yeah he was certainly better then tammer in bonded by blood
This guy is a terrible interviewer
I thought he played that part very well but even if he may or may not have looked like him. I already commented earlier about how good he was playing that part
“Remember, switching to your pistol is always faster than reloading.”
Was that him? 😮
"Using your knife is even faster than switching to your pistol... nice your fruit killing skills are remarkable"..... Gaz
always good to see a working-class bloke do well - fairplay to him, I enjoy his movies.
I'm with you there. We grew up streets away from him, same background but I wish there was something better to make films about than people who are essentially scum. Why are people like that glorified? I mean way to aim low.
@@tdk9518 Good point
what i like about Craig and this interview is that he names everyone from his drama teacher to directors agents etc etc, which shows respect as most people will not go into this detail
Humble guy who knows his level, I think he's levels above what he says he is but u can only respect him for that
I picked this up, too, and thought exactly the same.
Must of needed to fill the hour slot 😜
He's excellent humble, hard working and really deserves all the best in the world
Agreed Massively underrated
@@rub1tan679 he has such a distinctive look and voice that he tends to get typecast which is a shame in a way. He no doubt likes the work, but someone needs to give him a job as something utterly different and he would prove that he has huge range as an actor.
@@chrisretro81 👍👍
I saw him in Dubai airport coming back to the UK, I was going to approach him but then thought let the man be with his family why bother him.
Same here i saw him a few times es but he was with family and I don't agree with anyone approaching a celeb when they are with loved ones abut like that Eminem the way I am video dmpeople approaching when with family is just wrong. So I can relate
A genuine working class tough guy actor, you can’t learn to be like him if you were not born and raised like him. I really enjoy watching Craig, fabulous and cool and charismatic actor!
Much love & respect to Craig Fairbrass who is a legend and staple in the British movie industry. All of his work presents London England in a certain fashion and class, brilliant, he’s done his people & country proud. We salute you Sir 🫡
Cant wait for Essex boys 23
Hahaha
See that 3 years ago
@Banned4life 1488 only because of you , I've seen your comments before. You little racist thing
Already been done yesterday, they're shooting 98 now 🤣
@@lukey9220 lol funny guy
My Top 3 Actors for me personally:
No.1 Mel Gibson
No.2 Craig Fairbrass
No.3 Jake Gyllenhaal
I will always watch anything Craig is in! He carry's his roles down to a tee! And he is just the most entertaining!
Guy Richie, get Craig on one of your films. He’s a Top geeza
Massive Craig fairbrass fan. Would honestly love to meet him. Great interview and love the way he spoke about the films and parts he played in certain films. Really enjoyed the pat tate character he plays especially, but cannot believe for the life of me that one of the absolute best films he played in was never mentioned. I’m sitting there waiting in the whole interview for this film to come up. St. George’s day. Brilliant film. Once again. Love Craig and the parts he plays. Well done Craig and keep it up, your doing a fantastic job, most of the time.
It feels like Craig oesn't get much loving. I didn't even see much on his insta...cant even say if it was a real one. His twitter's a bit more active tho.
I will check that film out thanks
St George’s Day 🏴 great film 👍🏻
Cliffhanger
Good to see a private side of Craig. Villain was a huge step up for him and he did it proud.
Our education and class system is brought into sharp focus here. Those who find it hard at school have to carve a different and more difficult path afterwards. This guy succeeded.
Pat Tate is playing Graig Fairbrass very well in this interview
🤣🤣🤣🤣
This guy would have done a brilliant job portraying Lenny the governor Mclaine. Great actor. Brilliant in Muscle
Agreed, he was made for the role!
A cracking British Actor, one of my favourites, a legend!
Great in cliffhanger u like soccer i used to be a great fucking stricker
Great actor, he played pat exactly as we expect pat to be. Hard as nails! Great interview! Keep the movies coming Craig! 👍🏼
What a actor you can see he puts everything into every role he plays and he seems like the actor who won't be happy until the scene is perfect
I Love Craigs work . And loves his roles in films . Especially when he kicks the shit out of people . The pizza scene is still my favourite
We're talking about cheese ya cant!
@@scottjohnstone6204 😂😂😂
Epic scene, just saw the movie. Best actor in that film imo
@@delahayenator He plays a 300lb psychotic yeti really well!
@@scottjohnstone6204 😂takes some kind of skill
Brilliant actor, very down to earth top man!!
I like Craig! Brings a level of authenticity to his characters.
What a genuine bloke. Seems the sort of bloke you could have a pint with. Respectful, modest and genuinely nice and grateful for being where he is. Love villain, st georges day, all the R.O.T.F, muscle was underrated as well. Keep the fairbrass movies coming. 👍👍👍
Gets me how people don't like this. He's best of British
What a lovely man. So down to earth
Getting older..he's never changed Fairbrass doesn't get older.
ITS CHEESE YA CANT

4 fucking toppings!!!!!
imagine him as Captain Britain, end of film - cheese you cant
One thing’s for sure, Craig will always have work, enjoyed this interview immensely, thanks for posting.
Always look forward to Craig's new stuff, keep them coming mate 🤙
Rise of the foot soldier is the first movie I saw Craig in, outstanding actor
Great actor! Craigs performance as Pat Tate in Rise of the Footsoldier was second to none!
100%
I will never forget the pizza shop scene in raise of the foot soldier 1, Good Actor👌
My favourite British actor, minus the profanity. A legendary, talented, charismatic actor.
robert newton, oliver reed are great british actors
@@mrlesta
I agree. People like Oliver Reed were great British actors but Craig Fairnrass is MY favourite British actor.
@@truthhitman7473 cool but have yoy seen robert newton as bill sykes in oliver twist
@Shane Molloy i think robert newton and oliver reed more menacing as actors
Gary Oldman
I can't help liking Craig. I wish he was in more movies. I think he'd do very well indeed in the USA too. They'd totally love him over there.
Regards, Dave
Anyone know when Rise of The Footsoldier : Pat Tate - The Skegness day trip is released?
Determination and focus have paid off , kudos for Craig .
I've been a fan of Craig Fairbrass since London's Burning. He really seems like a nice fella and I think he's a great actor.
I remember seeing him on top of the pops as a dancer 😆 brilliant bloke. Love his work and love his respect for his mentors and other actors of the past.
Always been a big Craig Fairbrass fan. Loved him as Dan in Eastenders & a lot of other stuff he's done. He has such an imposing physical presence. Btw, Avengement is a fantastic film that needs to be seen by more people.
You know mate. Brilliant film ! Proper man film
He was also good in the new Gerard Johnson film 'Muscle'
Fairbrass was brilliant in footsolider he made that movie gave it a massive element of class, made it very realistic on the london criminal character.. defo be great in a bond movie too.. 👍🏻👍🏻
It would be good to see him in a supporting role in a Bond movie. Maybe as a contact for Bond, or even as a henchman
Great little film that Villain.
Craig is good "tought guy" actor, can remember him in London's Burning as Techneac back in the 80's.
Oh shit yeah, that's where I remember him from
@@jonjakb5193 he was also in a film with Sylvester Stallone called cliffhanger.
What a decent man. Very humble and respectful. As someone else said, it's great to see a working class lad go on and do good.
Good actor and a very humble man
I can only hear Simon Reiley's voice
Simon "Ghost" Riley.
Only OGs know about Gaz. RIP GAZ GRIGGS
Yeah, he killed by Imran Zakhaev with pistol right? I think it was desert eagle

Big fan of Craig, very down to earth... Nasty fella in cliffhanger though 😂
Brilliant interview. Absolutely loved this. Nice to see the real Fairbrass. Spot on
I met him at Devon Comic Con today. I took a selfie and got him to sign my copy of Rise Of The Footsoldier. It was fun expience meeting him.
He so humble and worries about how the violence in films could be betrayed..
Love Craig Fairsilver in his roles.
He sells himself short. He is bloody good at what he does.Love all his work.
This bloke is awesome love his films I think this was a good interview 👍
Yeah top man, top actor and top interview . Emjoyed.

He's 100% from Stepney I know
Craig is a top quality talent 👌, everyone seems to forget his voice over role's in the COD video game series though 🤔, "GAZ" Anyone?
Very under rated actor who should of been a big Hollywood actor and a shame that didn't work out.. a wasted opportunity for Hollywood and the world... I hope Craig get some bigger better well deserved oppotunitues as he deserves more than his ever been offered.. good luck bro 🙏🏽👍🏾
Watched Villain recently, really enjoyed it! Craig is a great actor IMO!
One of my favorite actor's keep em coming mate 👍
Watched villain last night and thought it was really good. Thought the big man played his role brilliantly.
I knew Craig a little on Londons Burning, great time in my life and he was a top man
I like how he cuts a long story short
Really underated actor in my imo
Very good insight of Craig's life so far .
I hope some day this brilliant British Actor gets the credit he truly deserves...if there is ever a brilliant example of a working class boy who, as a man, achieved great things....this is Craig
Hes typecast for a reason... Hes no Stephen Graham who has a lot of variety and scope for his talents.
Deliver the pizza she asked for or i'll come down there and open you up

Tom Hardy as a younger Don Logan in the prequel.
Make it happen please.
Villian was great definitely some of his best work for me👍
