      You can do burnouts no matter the drive type. If you can’t get going due to the brakes overpowering the torque of the transmission, ease up off the brake pedal just enough to “break” the tires loose. If you feel the car creep forward and you don’t want to move forward, ease pressure ever so slightly until you find that sweet spot.
      Don’t ask me how I know

    I have a 2021 Dodge Challenger that’s an AWD and I’ve been trying to work on how to do a stationary burnout, but it has been pretty unsuccessful recently. I know I need to go into the fuse box and take out the AWD system, but how hard am I supposed to be holding the break as well as the gas at the same exact time and am I supposed to be fluttering the or break wall doing the burn out? Every time I hold gas as well as the break at the same time, my car always starts taking off and then I get an emergency light pop up while my car is moving with my foot fully down on the gas. Then it forces me to take my foot off the gas as well as the break and then I am able to put my foot back on the gas and drive the car correct unfortunately, not doing the burnout. I know that’s a lot, but if you’d be able to help me with that, that would truly mean a lot!

  • @whojackson
    @whojackson 6 місяців тому

    not a lot of people talk about this: if your car or truck does not have enough power or has good tires (i.e. good traction on dry pavement), your car or truck will just rev up to torque convertor stall speed (2000 or 2500 rpm) and a burnout wont happen because youre not producing enough power to break the brakes grip on the wheel. If you do the same in rain, a burnout will happen however.

    I have a question, how can the transmission support so much tension while on one side the motor is fighting to spin the wheels and on the other side the break system is also fighting hard to stop the wheels from spinning? I mean , isnt this like very bad for your car ? Can this lead to a transmission failure, break failure or smth?

    • @randykitchleburger2780

      Yes it is very bad for your car lmao. That's what a burnout is

    • @TheBurnoutShow
      @TheBurnoutShow  Рік тому +10

      Its definitely not good for your car, but most cars that are able to do it can handle it no problem. Transmissions are way stronger than you think and using the brakes while accelerating really doesn’t put much strain on the transmission. So yes technically it can lead to a few different things breaking/failing but they already have to be weak for that to happen.

    • @akaq108
      @akaq108 Рік тому +1

      @@TheBurnoutShow now let’s be honest. I am also a very fan of drifting , donuts , burnouts and every motorsport daredevil stunts and performing, but, no car industry ever designed a car to be able to burnout without putting anything at risk. I mean that is completely a breakout in the way how the car driving system works. It is something that we people choose to do as a way of satisfying our passion, its not that the producer made the car for burnouts too. It was not included on the menu , if u know what i mean.

    • @TheBurnoutShow
      @TheBurnoutShow  Рік тому +5

      I didn’t say they designed the cars to do burnouts, but you are grossly underestimating the the design of these cars. They aren’t designing cars to be just durable enough to withstand typical daily use. Cars are over designed. They put a lot of time and effort into making everything strong enough to be able to withstand way more than typical use. If they didn’t then your car would only last a year or two before going to the junkyard. And yeah like I said before, if your car is already beaten and broken then you are putting it at risk, but as you can clearly see by the video this charger can easily handle doing much more than just this burnout. Another example is my 1976 Chevy Camaro. Which we have tons of videos about, and that thing is pretty beat. But again it handles doing burnouts with ease and even though it’s old and weak it doesn’t break. So like I said, it’s not good for your cars, but the cars are plenty strong for this because they are designing cars with the idea of how to make them last. Another very easy example of this is in drag racing. Every car that participates in a drag race does a burnout while staging the car at the line. It’s actually a stress test to make sure that your car can handle drag racing and isn’t going to leak fluids or blow up on the track. So yeah, cars are designed to handle more than you think, and there are many examples that you can see for yourself.
