hi just curious going their soon ... what type of currency is best for there ..im from Canada dont know if i should bring Canadian money or American money or Pesos ... for tips etc ...
I took about $500 US dollars in Pesos just cuz you can get some better shopping deals on Pesos, then the locals don't have to convert it. They will take US dollars for sure, I'd expect they'd talk Canadian Dollars too because there's probably just as many Canadian visitors as American, if not more Canadian. When it comes to tipping use either or currency, and your drinks will be a little stronger 😉
What would you honestly rate this resort? And I heard there is an issue with Seagulls there, also how many restaurants are there, and how are the drinks there Alcoholic ones, and what would you recommend. Lastly what is there do to close by, and does the resort have activities?
Zain Gonzalez fair 4 out of 5 stars. it was what I was looking for. the seagulls wern't a problem that I saw, being next to water you're gonna have those. 2 restaurants one is all you can east anytime from about 7 am to 10 pm. one other is reservation only which you can only get reservations day of...stand in line early in the morning to get them. the place is really mellow, laid back. great service and staff.
Yes, it looks rocky but it's pretty light, I didn't find that there were sharp rocks. It could be a bit uncomfortable if you are not use to walking on rocks. I'd still recommend some flip flops or something if you go in the water. There are large rocks close to the beach once you get a few feet out then it is pretty sandy, I did some snorkeling with flippers but walked back up onto the beach bear footed.
I was here for a week i do not know how i survived ... I swam out so far and drank and the life guards were screaming at me "there are sharks" so I swam back in to drink and eat more but i survived the food is iffy but ok you get what you pay for and don't get eatin by sharks . thanks guys i loved it jeffg
There is really no threat of sharks in Coz. If you went there to see a bull or a tiger you'd be VERY disappointed. There's Nurse and whale sharks and the occasional reef shark but that's about it.
Thanks for sharing. I will be going in May. It looks nice and quiet.
Stephanie S I am planning a trip there again next winter with family
I was just there a few weeks ago. I miss it everyday!
Tri Tran you looked familiar, I saw the video you made with the drone. Great Job! I gave it a thumbs up.

Zain Gonzalez oh, yes, activities too. plenty. snorkeling, jet skis, games, spa, etc.
Zain Gonzalez there isn't anything close by, it's secluded, but a cab ride to town is about 8 bucks one way.
Thanks man, Helps a lot
What about the Alcoholic drinks though, I am looking at a deal on Expedia says here it includes 2 free tours.
The beach looks rocky. Did you spend any time at the beach?

they do a great job cleaning the beach every morning of debris that could wash up on shore and clearing seaweed.
Thank you . very nice
