My 35 th. Thanks for asking; my migraine is over now, what a delight. Structure in a white animal. Looks very lovely. I think I will paint it this evening so I will watch it again. LOOSE BUT NOT STRUCTURELESS. O and the background music took me back to my cradle time 😅.thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day. Wim.😊
A very happy looking duck! I found this to be a valuable lesson in a) painting loose and spontaneously and, b) shading a white subject. I look forward to trying this lovely duck. Thank you for sharing, Diane. Have a peaceful night. ox🦆
So great! Jemima Puddleduck 😃😃👍👍👍 Yellow and blue shadows, yet you can see the white duck. Simply fantastic! Thank you very much, Diane, for this tutorial
For me, one of the most important things is to learn how to use light and shadow in painting. I am convinced that once you understand this principle, you can paint. For me, mixing colours and dealing with light and dark are essential. It would be great if you, dear Diane, could publish more of these lessons. Maybe also a theory video where you show such basics? Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us!
Thanks Sylvia, I'm grateful for your support both here and on eBay, where you gave me a big boost when I was just getting started last year. I'm hoping to create a structured course soon. Once we have got the UA-cam channel properly launched that's the next step!
This truly brightened my day! Your drawing skills are amazing. I love the looseness of the last two paintings you have shared. I hope one day to be able to enjoy myself painting as much as you seem to!! Thanks as always....😘
My 271th. I rewatched this video and actually painted it at last! Even more fun then only watching😂🎉.thanks. I think I will paint this duck more and use it as a card or little gift. 😊wim
Дорогая Диана! Жаль, что вы далеко- так бы и приехала бы к вам учиться вашему волшебному мастерству! Только не зная языка, не пойму что у вас за фломастеры для обводки. Спаси Бог💥👍🙏🏻
Another one of your great short tutorials to try. Thank you . And great tip re using broken sketchy lines when drawing. The principle of having a warm side and a cool side is new to me - interesting.
I really enjoyed this video. I took good notes on pen & wash process. And quickly wrote down your colors. I will paint it later when the smiley box from Amazon arrives with my pen .05 and my first Kuritake water brush.
I love this duck so much! I painted this in early October, and one of my daughters confiscated it for her house! The one I did today definitely shows improvement!
Hi Diane! I tried this last night and it turned out pretty well. Though mine looked more like a gosling than a duck 😄. Thanks for the tip on the colors to use for shading cool and warm 🤗.
i LOVED IT, helped me to star daring into the wet on wet technique

He’s so special. We grew up with a pet goose named Godfrey. This reminds me of him.
I'm sorry I'm a year late here but... She is so alive and with personality! 🖌
