No. I played for the first 6 months of release then i got bored.
I have not tried it since.
Siege actually broke the top player count record it previously held. The game is in an okay spot -much better than it was previously-, and I’m willing to come back with the scope changes. All of my friends came back too! It’s been a blast.
The way you play siege is so oldschool I love it, you don't see a lot of that kind of communication and follow the leader type strategy these days, it's mostly no mic andy's bum rushing the objective...really refreshing video dude! :D

Keyword here is 'sponsored'. Ubisoft really trying hard to re-awaken this game. It might be better now, but for me this game died long time ago when they started adding all the Sci-Fi bullcrap like holograms, drones that can boost-heal your teammates, invisibility and who know what else. The sense of realism if what kept me going. No hate if you like the game though. 🤗

Like Blackout said above, if the game stayed realistic and hardcore, it wouldn't be seeing the player numbers they have, wouldn't see the success it has and would be dead as fuck. I'd rather have a tactical game that keeps innovating and bringing updates to the game than yet another dead, realistic FPS.

I always get skeptical when I hear sponsor. Especially from Ubisoft. Rainbow has always been good or decent but Ubisoft doesn't have the best track record to me

I've recently bought R6 Siege because it was on discount for 80% and being the first time I've play it, i been having quite a blast in my pc, right now I'm on level 8 but I'm gonna keep going.

The steamdb charts showing a all time high are actually most likely inflated, due to the bug where the game does not close on steam afterwards. But the game IS getting a comeback which I love, just reminding people that the data is potentially skewed
They need to bring back a PVE Rainbow Six (with human bad guys). Hell, I would welcome a remake / reboot of the OG R6. Same story but no longer in 1999.
Even though the video's sponsored and Ubisoft still does a lot of the greedy and sus things other AAA devs do, I feel like (recently) they have done a better job of caring for their community and doing things they want, at least compared to Activision, EA, and Epic (with Rocket League at least). That's why Rainbow is still kickin' to this day.

Siege just serves to remind me that Ubisoft killed Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon in the worst possible way. Maybe in a few years Ground Branch will be where it needs to be.
I'm still not a fan of the reworks to Hedford Base, and house. The new UI looks rather uninspired and generic. It was the little things that pushed me away, good memories pushed into the dirt for the sake of a competitive scene with no option to still enjoy the classic maps. Some reworks were justified, but at the end of the day the pre-reworked maps felt realistic and not designed for a shooter game.
I do wish Hereford Base and House were in Ranked, but I get why House isn't. Hereford Base was such a banger back in the day and since I don't play anything but Ranked, I'll never see it again lol

The game is still a pile of shit and it has been for the last 5 or so years. Nothing tactical about it any more. It’s a TDM hero shooter at war with its own identity. You can tell the developers want it to be tactical because of how they artificially slowed down the ADS speed but you can still fuckin jiggle peak and QE spam and the amount of new operators that constantly just ping your position is ridiculous lmao

Ubisoft make a lot of crap games (Rainbow Six Extraction for example) but Siege is still one of my favourite FPS games. Can't believe it's been so long since it came out
I really love siege, I don't see myself ever making it my main game but I do enjoy it as a side casual experience 10/10 content Bigfry.
I haven't touched R6S in a long long while so this major update might get me back in.

Ubiflop removed everything fun from the game because of the no life streamers complaining. Removed the dead bodies, removed the bullet holes and you basically only play the same maps every game

i love siege but dawg stop hyping it up as though it did a complete 180, just makes me feel like you and ubisoft have a thing going on. it’s always been a fun game but it still suffers from ubisoft antics, bad map reworks and rebalances, and oh they haven’t added a NEW gun model in forever…
I liked Siege but the addition of LGBTQ+ turns me off. I like the EU and NA servers as I can get kills even with 200 ping but in SEA, I have to play smartly or work hard for a kill.

Dude. I had to eat shit for like 3 months lol - Its Map knowledge, Operator knowledge and FPS skill. Watch videos of people playing and try to watch what they do, where they go etc.
