I prefer the method with fewest strokes. The letters look just as good and enables cursive italic to be written more quickly.

I’ve been trying to find the italicized calligraphy. I’ve been trying to figure out how to do it without the nib pen. Like using calligraphy markers. I the learned italicized calligraphy back in high school.
The technique is similar when using a marker!

I prefer it broken down. Calligraphy requires patience and should not be sped up or rushed IMO. I think the ends result is more polished.
