It's crazy seeing you guys do one of these, I did a Freelander 2 a couple of years ago with the same system, that was before Connects 2 made the fibre optic retention for that car, was interesting to say the least, and those cages are a daily occurrence in the uk, both connects 2 and autoleads (owned by AAMP) use them on basically all there double din kits.
Yeah those things are fun for sure. Funny thing is Aamp owns both of those companies now. Sadly we get none of it here.
Great video!! I own a LR2 and car toys refused to do the stereo because of the fiber optics. Told me i needed to purchase a $400 harness before they would even touch it.
What do you do if you have a navigation screen above the radio already?!
Spiral audio stuff actually works really well! I did a cayenne with Bose a little while back and was worried when I saw what the client brought us but it worked perfect first time!
Come to find out it is rebranded Connects2 stuff. They are one of the best at making interfaces.
This is the same car I have . Can u tell me what exactly what supplies/radio models I need to look for to buy. Either exactly which 1 u r using or any other styles/designs I can buy
Another great video. Have you ever heard of the spiral audio kit for 2003-2014 XC90 ? I used that for my car up on the northeast but I had to show them your video on how to use the old radio to keep the stereo working :) .

Help. Where did you connect the system remote blue/white wire? I am getting no power to the pioneer head unit, and I am pretty sure that is the problem. The spiral audio kit has been updated and there is no instruction on what to do.
I had to use a Spiral Audio dash kit for my Saab 9-3.. Tho the instructions were crap the kit was pretty decent..
Do you know if the freelander 2 td4 Xs has phono to phono leads on the radio for a sub to go in? X
Hey dean, have you worked on an LR3 before? I have a cousin of mine who would love to change his out but wants to retain the factory screen as it has info for the car. Just wondering where one could go about getting more info. I do know it has the Harmon system in it and will need to be re wired

Too bad the reliability of Land Rovers is total garbage. This customer unfortunately will not have very much time to enjoy this system.
The Brittish have always made the worst reliable cars. Its reallt bad when your cars are worse than Chrysler.
