For beginners trying drops (and this actually works for me at 1m and to flat)... Try on a curb etc... Go over the curb at a comfortable pace.. not too slow, not too fast... Pump down on your bars just before the lip so the suspension is coming back up as your front goes out into space.. THATS IT. And you can combine a push out if you end up going a little slow... I did a mediocre video on it myself... Course I'm lazy, unfit and in my mid 50's but I no longer scare myself doing stupid things like pulling UP going over a drop. (There's even a clip of a 1m drop to flat using nothing but a bump on the forks and no push out at all... (and as I say, it reserves the pushout for emergencies).
Great video! I just hit my first drops doing this. I do feel like is hard sometimes lifting my front wheel. Do I need to compress my suspension if am on a hard tail?
Thank you! The same weight distribution technique will apply between hard tail and full suspension bikes. The only difference with the hardtail you will have to absorb the impact more with your arms and legs due to the lack of the rear shock
It looks like whatever you're doing is working out great! Keep it up and just have fun with it! I could use some pointers off you for gaining subscribers!
@@outoffokuss i think you have great info. For my other channel i watched a yt channel called ChannelMakers. Lots of great info. A few suggestions. Intro. Start with just your mtb clips no cars no dogs. Keep it 10s or less showing you shredding some people know you can ride. Thumbnail. Image is good but text is tiny. All you really need in big letters is "drops" and maybe how to. Energy. Your on camera audio and energy dont get you pumped. Very monotone. I think video quality is great. If you can punch up the audio and energy i think it would go a long way. I have found thumbnails and titles make a big difference. I subbed and hope to see your channel grow!
1990 mtb masters Look how they did it before dual suspension or dropper post . It's all about the technique. This is why I find so many mtb riders over spec and over geared like a basketball player wearing Jordan's but can't score a layup.
Great simple video. My fav part tho is the tent flex. LOl😂
Nice. Different approach to other drop videos. I like your practice skills
Thanks I appreciate it

Great video demonstrations. The visuals helps tremendously.
I Appreciate the feedback! Glad it helps!
Great video! this helped a lot and explained it really well.
I'm glad you liked it! Thanks for the feedback
Thanks for such informative video. Problem with 2010 Mtbs are, we cant down the seat as frame size of my mtb is 19, it does not go down.

@@outoffokuss I see. Thank you!
Ironic I just purchased a hardtail, im 4 rides in on one and I will post a video about it coming soon. Ty for watching! Keep riding
What is the brand and model?
Ibis ripmo v1
Nice tutorial!
Ty! Thanks for watching
but we do not ride with such low position of the seat
Then make a video explaining to those that don't ride with a dropper post.
Awesome Video! I am new to the UA-cam community and wondering if you have any advice for my videos? Thanks!!

@@TheShift1313 thank you sir, I agree

Absolutely, I cant disagree with the technique. I'm glad I had the luxury to spend alot of time on a bmx bike in my childhood
