Sitting in my studio in the Netherlands now, but remembering this night 9 years ago, well worth seeing live if you get the chance. Also saw him at a cafe in Kerikeri around 2001 blew my mind that night. Was playing through a bigger setup then.
He is a great guy. He was playing in our town once in a hall to about 20 locals. Halfway through he said he was going to have 15 minute break so a couple of friends and I quickly went across the pub to squeeze in a sneaky handle of beer. We watched our watches and had our beer then snuck back to the hall. Paul was ready back on the stage and by the looks of it had been there for awhile.. must have been a quick break! Anyway he waited for us
This guy is incredible and it seems like he's not too well known but man the tone of his guitar is beautiful. What model Martin is this do you know? (and yes I know the player is what makes a piece sound amazing but I'm still curious :P )
Chandelier - Will Paquin brought me here. What an interesting step in my journey and also what a beautiful song!
The King of the Afro Blues.

Bölzer brought me here!
I've seen a lot of the big acts, as you do, but I still rate seeing Paul live (many many times). To Lincoln days.

He lives in New Zealand, maybe for his genre(s) he's about as big as he could be. This song is a masterpiece.
