None of them were unhappy.. Older men with no machismo, just honoring what they learned. He had a childlike giddiness that made the interview awesome to watch. That's the sort of enthusiasm that makes you want to learn. Oss!!

He is still strong despite of age. The gratest Master I have heard or seen ever. I'm very proud I live in times on Master Higaonna. Long live to Sensey!

Agree with your view, he's one of rare few who really excel in karate, and best of all, he has tremendous passion in this art form.

I trained with him once way back in the 1980s at his dojo in Okinawa. It was just one day but I never forgot ANY of that experience, great memory. And yes I still practice today.

Had the honour of training under his guidance three times at gasshukues in the 90'ies. What an amazing leader, mentor and fabulous human being. So full of insight, respect and strenght in all areas. I have never met anyone like and never will. Truly amazing. He is capable of techniques you wont believe before you actually experience it. Thank you Sensei 💪👍🥋❤

Thank you for showcasing Higaonna Sensei. I loved the effect of the dark surroundings during Higaonna Sensei and Kuramoto Sensei Kata Performances, it makes one appreciate the Kata in greater details.

I know nothing much about Karate but I have seen many people who have trained very hard and have mastered a martial art all their life. They all have this light, happy feeling when in a conversation. But very scary in training. Respect.
