My mum let me stay up late to watch Paul and Barry even though I was 15, and her saying "now there are a pair of handsome boys, they'll break a few hearts I'm sure" 💔...they certainly broke mine. I was always a massive fan. RIP guys, you are sorely missed. May your memories be blessed 💞.

Well, it was 1966 and they were very young, only 17. It was their first appearance on the telly, they sang live and they were both very nervous. Barry said in an interview only a few years ago that 'we were that nervous our knees were knocking'. So pretty good considering.
Just had to watch again.... and realising that I was only about 2 years old then, it even depends on what month this was on!...hahaha ... Anyway...if I could have been or add 20 to that in some '' magical'' way? At THAT time...? Well I would have known MY faves!!
