Well Hey Jude set the template released Aug 26 '68 whilst Eloise was 4 Oct 68. They prob had doubts but hearing Hey Jude said let's do it. For me Eloise is thee greatest single ever. Fave bit is the ascending bass near the end. So so good & what a singer. He should have been bigger really but it was a bit of a one hit wonder.
Probably the greatest pop rock song ever. I had Good Vibrations initially & forgot about this monster, sorry Brian this just has more good vibrations frankly. His twin brother Paul wrote it. Just marvellous.

I finally found the song Eloisa but if somebody could tell me what this is trying to say I like the lyrics and I like to the part where he slows down and help speeds up again and I can play it on the keyboard but I try playing on my keyboard and whatever I missed I missed but I want to play it again if Mary Ryan was here he could show me how to plant if his brother was here I could show me how to play it I can get the lyrics in or from the Apple Music or from the Google

Think they overdone it a bit. It's not a fast song but has great power & you have to work from the great stop notes.
