im starting the process of genning Megaminx ZBLLs that have a solved 2x2x1 block for a kind of tripod/ZB hybrid for mega. i believe its under 1k algs so definitely on the horizon of being doable.
do you think a method like this could ever be equal or better than just regular OLL-PLL?

I remember someone genned VHLS+tripod block (i think? don't remember exactly) for megaminx a few weeks ago and combining that with tripod ZBLL would be super interesting. It might be faster than OLL/PLL but it's a ton of algs.

Yeah tripod ZBLL is definitely worth looking into, but idk if anyone's willing to learn that many algs lol. I heard that LML knows 150 ZBLLs; I wonder if those are tripod? It would make sense because easy recognition

For single cases it's more distinct and memorable, but when you're grouping them together, it makes more sense to have all the similar-looking cases share a letter
