I don't think Toyota is discontinuing the Land Cruiser. What they are closing out is the 5.7 V8... That Toyota you brought in is a valuable piece of real estate. People are buying them up just for the engine.
What a steal! Keep it for as long as possible as I'm sure they will appreciate it since they don't sell them in the US anymore. Plus they are rarer than their LX 570 brothers.
I love the land cruiser, but this is not a family hauler. If that’s what you want, would be better to get a highlander or sequoia and save a bunch of money. If you are looking for something good on moderate trails that is high quality and super comfortable, this may be a good choice.
Also this video is pretty messed up, she says she got “stuck” but the 2021 LC 2nd row seats slide forward on both ends. Thats just straight up wrong and should be corrected.

My parents bought one in 1990 that they drove for over 10 years. They bought one of the first ones available in San Diego at the time, I grew up in that car. They then got another one in 2009 that they still have. This body style is so ugly compared to previous body styles. I’m surprised they won’t be making it anymore.
Would love if you could do the Toyota Sequoia. I just found out it has the rear roll down window just like the 4Runner. Seems great for dogs but would love your opinion on how kid friendly it is.
We have a 2014 Limited Sequoia We have 5 kids one on the way. We currently have 2 Graco slim fits forward facing in the 2nd row with a Graco rear facing infant carrier. 3rd row we have Graco forward racing slim fit. and a high back booster and our 9yr old sits in between them. Nice thing is we don't have remove any car seats for out kids to get to the 3rd row. the 2nd row bench slides. and even though its a bench the seats are independent and can slide that way also. I do have pics to prove it. I am planning on doing a video once the weather is better since I have not seen any on it with multiple car seats.
There are many cars you should lease, this is the only car you should really just buy. It’s a car you can put into your will as it’s likely going to outlast you. But you’re right, this shouldn’t come at the expense of modernization and inconveniences like that third row and no panoramic roof.

They are not designed to be for hauling around dirty / squirrely kids and are typically out of the price range of the average "mom" and her round bellied / balding / bald husband. They have enough payments with their two stories, minivans / Durangos, etc, etc, etc. Hahaha
i still really think you shoud review a buick enclave, i know they have an old people stigma to them but its actuallly quite well thought out. there is a passthrough area between the first set of back seats to make it easy to get to the third row. check it out if you can.
Hey kelly. Love your style.. would love your opinion on my next family truck.. need a durable suv for light off road trails and some road trips. Want a comfy car that fits a huge fat older guy. Mostly need knee room. . Thinking about a 25 to 30 k budget . Want a first year land cruiser / 2008 with some miles to get in my budget. Or a 2008 to 2010 sequoia with 4wd.. only 2 people going on a trip.. but might want to sleep in the back with the third row seats removed. Going to keep the truck at least 15 years. But only putting on 5 to 7 k miles a year. Your opinion would be appreciated . You dont look comfy in the back seat. Your knees and legs are 8 inches off the seat
If you are just going to haul family and kids, you are going to be way happier with the Audi Q7. If you want to cross continents, drive through war ravaged countries without breaking a sweat, and have a car to save you during an apocalypse, there is no substitute for a Land Cruiser.

A 2017 VX-R turbo diesel costs around USD 140K or EUR 114K while a 2017 Q7 costs around USD 88K or EUR 72K. The 2010 petrol 4.6L ZX 200 series costs around USD 60K / EUR 49K and I'm trying to shy away from the early Q7s since the road conditions here are bad for air/hydraulic suspensions. Therefore I'm thinking of going for the 2010 ZX for USD 60K or 2017 Q7 for USD 88K. I love the 200 series but maybe the Q7 is way more comfortable for the family.

Kelly.. my girlfriend asks about climbing in and getting out wearing a pencil skirt. She drives a bmw x5 daily and loves the places for extra clothes and cubbies for snacks and makeup. And she loves the bmw mirrors for checking yourself quick before going to a meeting. Is the land cruiser easy to load packages and grocerys in ? This reviewers argument for doing car reviews for moms are self defeating 😂. If you can’t appreciate the legendary LC then you should probably drive a full size Amazon van or the Mercedes sprinter cus I bet those vans would have ample space for your fancy water bottles and Starbucks 🤣🤣🤣

Wasn’t that vehicle once a safari vehicle? It doesn’t appear to be anything more than reliable which is a feature found in many vehicles at half the price. A vehicle that expensive should come with every available option as standard. That rear row is a safety issue... when the unthinkable happens to some unfortunate owner of that vehicle, their passengers will be trapped in that rear seat and could perish in a car fire. No one should buy that vehicle unless there is some seat release feature somewhere. I’m going to use an expression to describe this vehicle, an expression I despise: It is but lipstick on a pig.
The Toyota LC will outlast every other soccer mom car in existence, it will also hold value unlike any other vehicle.
This is not for you moms. It's reliable offroading beast
The LC is literally one of the best quality vehicles on the planet.

The dealer knocked off $20,000 on my 2020! It was right when COVID started and was worried it wouldn’t sell.

Lower anchors aren’t as important as top tethers. Lower anchors also have a weight limit so are only short term. Seatbelts hold a 300lb person.
