I made this tonight for dinner, and it was PERFECT! The internal temp rose to 165° after standing, but it was still slightly pink in the center and OH SO JUICY! My 9 year old asked for more - a miracle in itself! We'll DEFINITELY have this again!!!
@lisamariegeorge1111 thank you so much for tell me. That made my day. If you have an other recipes or ideas you would like to see please let me know. Thank you again
I did this with some Jerk Marinated Pork Loin and dat Chit came out perfect. FYI, I hit that loin with another round of marinade right before going in the oven! Great no BS video!!
Spent a while looking at YT vids for a simple pork rub. Thanks for this one. This is really helpful for the part time kitchen duffer or the professional cook. Many times less IS more, and better. Good work. Will be looking for some of your other recipes.
Thank you for watching I hope you fine what your looking for. I have tons of great recipe videos. I could not agree more less is more. In culinary school I was taught k.i.s.s. Keep It Simple Stupid. Lol.
Chef Tony, I made three three pound tenderloins today and I did your recipe and it was amazing! I made enough for my daughter to take one home for tomorrow for her family, one for my husband and I for tomorrow and one for us all to eat today! Everyone of us together ate almost two of them today! Oh my gosh it was amazing! Thanks for the video!
cooking that tonight. Great video, no fluff no buff, just straight up cooking.. Nice job. Watched about half a dozen videos before this one and some of those people just make it too fancy or complicated..
Thank you. I like to keep my videos to the point. Make life simple. If there's any recipes of mine you would like me to do please let me know and I'll get to making a video for it.
Thank you! Followed your recipe with a bigger piece of meat, so it took longer to bake it, until 147° inside. It turned out juicy, soft and very tasty!
Your welcome. Thank you for watching. I tried doing all that extra footage to make a video longer. But it's not my style. I know when I watch cooking videos I'm not there for all that extra stuff I just want the recipe. So why would I do that to other.
Thanks for the video brother. I'm going to be making this tonight. Never did a sear on a pork loin before. Hopefully it's as good as my mom used to make it. Hers was always bomb and all she used with salt and pepper. God bless you man
Thank you very much for the kind words and watching and subbing. I like to keep it to the point. I don't think all the fancy camera shots have a point when people just want a recipe to cook with.
Please check out my other recipes and if your looking for a recipe please let me know if I don't have it I will do a video on it some time. If you have any questions about any recipe please ask.
Tony, 'Sandburg' again. Thanks (much)younger brother for "keeping it simple s" Took your rub recipe tonight & used it on a pound of clearance ground pork. Braised to 155 in pot with olive oil. Added onions, reduced with some cabernet, water, some fresh figs and added limited marinara. Put cooked pork patties back in 10 minutes. Served plated over garlic butter rolls. I called it "pigs & figs". Is as good as local meatball sub offers. Thanks again for the "launching pad". Hope you get a sponsored podcast soon.
That sounds amazing I'm going to have to try that. Thank you so much for the love and support. I would love to do a podcast one day but I have alot going on with doing 2 youtube channels. Hopefully one day I can do that.
awesome glad you enjoyed it. thanks for coming back. hope you try out some of our other recipes. if you have any question feel free to ask. thanks again
You just helped me out big homie lol I been trying to figure how long it would take to cook one …. I called my mom up askin here but she said didn’t eat it
Well I'm glad I was able to help. If you have any questions ever please ask I would be happy to help. Or if you have any recipes you would like to see let me know.
I think the loin I had must have been at least twice the size of yours - there was no bone and it took 75 minutes to hit 150, not from frozen. It was unbelievably delicious though!
Seasoning was right on, my roast was bone in and took a bit longer, I kept track of the temp and it turned out great. Note; I placed in the oven bone down.
This is awesome Tony! Question: When putting it in the oven, do you put it in with the fat side up or down? I think I will give this a try for Sunday dinner! GOOD JOB!
@@HomeHeadChef I cooked it at 375 degrees for 45 mins and it was perfecto! I added a side of mashed potatoes, gravy and fresh string beans and everyone came back for a second helping 🤗👍 Thanks Again✌
Thanks! I was trying to find a video that wasn't lengthy and gave simple and easy instructions, this was perfect. Glad I found your channel
Thank you for watching.

Thank you for giving stove top temperatures. So many won’t do this. Perfect recipe I was looking for tonight!
OH WOW!!!! First time I ever cooked pork roast. I made 4 of these today to take to a dinner after a funeral. This is my go-to recipe from now on.
I'm sorry to hear you had a funeral. But I'm glad you enjoyed them and thank you for the kind words.
Thankyou for leaving out the bells and whistles while still showing the process.

Awesome I hope this video helps you. If you have any questions please ask. Enjoy it and let me know how it turns out
Me too
I'm not much of a cook. But this made it simple for me. Thank you subscribed. Will definitely be checking out more videos.
Love to hear it. The point of my channel is to make things simple but elevated so people can cook just like the pros.
Thank you for this recipe. I was looking for an easier way to prepare a pork loin. Yum!
Your welcome and thank you for watching.
I just made this and it came out awesome!
I'm making this now, it smells wonderful!!

Tony, enjoyed a few of your videos today. Keep cooking.
Thank you for much
Love the list of ingredients written clearly prior to beginning to make it easier !!
Thank you so much. Glad you like my videos
Nice. Covered or uncovered into the oven?
gonna try this tonight. Thanks.
I'm officially your new follower. I'm a retired culinary cook
Thank you and welcome to the channel.
I’m trying this tonight. Thanks new friend here
LOve, easy to follow recipe I'm trying tonight! When you put it in the oven do you cover or not?
I did not. But you can if you would like. The reason I did not was I wanted the fat to render down and make a nice crust on top
@@HomeHeadChef thanks!
Please let me know if you like it or not.
@@HomeHeadChef it turned out wonderful. If it's not as tender did I overcook it or under cook. It was 150.
It could be i like to pull it early and let it rest. It helps the meat relax. It could also just be the meat its self.
wow my friend your awsome thanks for the recipe, greetings from Mexico, i suscribe and like....
Thank you very much and welcome to HomeHeadChef
love the crust of the garlic and herbs great call chef
thanks for stoping
We about to see if it’s as good as it looks 😂 it’s almost done!!!
I made this and it was so delicious! Thank u for sharing

The time will very from the size of the loin. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for the kind words.
I love the simplicity
Thank you.
Gonna cook it today THX
Great job I'm doing this tonight 💅
Can you roast it at a low temp overnight? I have 2 pork loins, totaling about 9 pounds.
That's a great question. I'm sure you could I'm just not a fan of cooking things over night and them not being attended too.
Trying this right now!
nice cooking for a young man,
for sure making this over the weekend
please do and enjoy

Awesome 👍🏻
Thank you
What if I have a 4lb half pork lion? Is it the same baking instructions?
I would give it check with your thermometer around 25 to 30 mins. Your looking for the same temp.
Very nice mate. No worrries about the blur. It came through well enough
Looks Wonderful I'm Hungry Now
looks soooo good chef
thanks for watching
thanks for watching
that looks so juicy chef outstanding video
you really have a way with food keep the videos coming
thanks you and we will for sure keep the videos coming we love making them and sharing our recipes with everyone
That looks good, dawg! Praise God. Ya know, pigs don't pray before they eat? :)
Thin pieces pull apart. What about the thicker ones?
on my way to the store now to get the stuff to make this haha
lol
Delicious
Thank you
Do you not deglaze that pan???
NICE
very nice chef
thank you
This is awesome Tony! Question: When putting it in the oven, do you put it in with the fat side up or down? I think I will give this a try for Sunday dinner! GOOD JOB!
that's a very good question. I did not go over that. you want to do fat side up so all the fat renders down into the meat and the fat crisps up some
Thank you good sir
145 is way better than 162. Lol I like it perfect
This was a good video. But one other thing I would mention is to not put the pepper on before searing. Pepper burns
How long should I cook a 3.5 boneless loin?
depending on the temp your cooking it at. it should take about an hour. or till the internal temp hits 150
@@HomeHeadChef

@@batgirl1271 sounds fantastic. so glad you enjoyed it. your welcome
roasted pork sandwich now that sounds good
it is really good
It was delicious... very moist and juicy! Great job again babe!
Oh yum! Looks so good!
can i use that rub on anything or just pork?
you sure can it's a basic rub but has alot of flavor
You may use it as a sunblock as well.
Thx brotha 👍
Thank you for watching
yesss i love a good pork loin
me to please enjoy
That’s olive oil? O.o
Did he say, on a sandwhich..with mayo, or cheese?
👀
I did. Thinly sliced roasted pork on a sandwich is amazing. Top it any way you like. I enjoy putting whiskey onions on mine.
You want that shit to hit 135 AND THEN let it rest. Lol
No need to skimp on the seasonings
Dam I didnt seer and its in the oven already. I just put it in the oven with a rub on it. Ah well, whats the worse that can happen?
Not much. Just try searing it first next time
Did you wash your hands.....lol...?
lol I always do before I cook and anytime there's a possible threat of cross-contamination
Stupid meat thermometer
Now what?
Guess I’ll roll the dice
Sorry it took so long to reply. As long as it's not pink should be safe to eat it
overcooked
👍
Thank you
very nice chef
thank you
