Literally, having lived for so many years in New York, she couldn't find any other people to invite to the party. Throughout the entire story, she had way more meaningful people in her life than Nya, for example.

The writers need to listen - this was a finale! Samantha says goodbye to the apartment. Miranda makes peace with Steve (and Che, but that's not important) Aidan wimps out of their relationship (be a man- say " sorry but I choose my family!" Charlotte has drawn a line in the sand (finally) There is no need for another season - put a fork in it, this turkey's done!
No 10 more seasons please.

Yeah.. "Byeeeeee Bitches!!" $1 million for what? Three minutes tops? That's how you do it. Everyone bitched at her and hated her and said she was ruining things by holding out for the money (during negotiations regarding the third movie) and even with talks of her making a reappearance on this series, that idiot Michael Patrick King told Kim at one point that she would NEVER be paid as much as SJP since SJP is what made Sex and the City.. well.. well.. well.. who was the one fans want/wanted back MOST??? Samantha! HBO was the one who made Kim the offer to at least do a cameo.. and only after some serious negotiations and demands.. including that she would NOT have actually be on set with any of them and that she would have the original designer, did HBO say.. "um.. okay.. YES!!!" .. the power of holding out when they really, really, really REALLY want you... who says "playing hard to get" doesn't pay off?

@@hristovapostol The problem wasn't anything to do with being 'WOKE" per se, it was just badly written. And hastily. It would have been better had they spent the whole of the first season having Miranda and Steve grow apart. Show us, the audience, their marriage falling apart, give the story time to breath. Instead it just felt like they had Miranda spending a week or two suddenly realizing she was gay? It doesn't work that way. Have her become queer, whatever, but give the story time to breath and be a bit more nuanced.

I adore Sam but it’s disrespectful to diminish the others to praise her. I loved all 4 lead characters. AJLT was successful without Sam. Even though yes her presence was missed and yes her character is iconic - but she’s just 1 of the 4 icons that made SatC amazing.

I raised that question in another forum as well!! I guess we will NEVER know.. One thing's for certain, she should have so Charlotte could have sent her brats to boarding school to learn some manners. If those kids said to me HALF of what they did to Harry and Charlotte, I would have carted their ass off to a soup kitchen or a program picking up trash to work their weekends AND summers! Ungrateful brats.

Ok watching this scene first time. Wow this seems so heavy and overly dramatic. Wheres the cute humor and the one liners? I dont know much about the reboot, only saw a few episodes (cringe), but these characters seem to have alot of baggage. Remember the simplicity of the original when just a scene of the four girls talking and eating at the local diner was something you waited for each week. This reboot is more like going to the dentist.
All of this because she's moving!!

By Having a significant scene called "the last supper" where all the main characters attend, except for 1.. they make kim kattral the odd one out. I highly doubt this wasnt done on purpose. theyre basically putting her in the place of judas.
when kim publickly called out sara jessica parker for bein a horrible person, she mentioned how manipulative, and passive aggressive she was, and that she was making all of these moves to cast her out of the friend group. and if this scene was done on purpose, it would fall right in line with her description of sara jessica parker.

Since, there was NEVER a REASONABLE explanation for the rift between Kim Catrall and Sarah Jessica Parker, I get the impression that Kim was JEALOUS of Sarah because she was the narrator and the MAIN character (attraction)!!! There are four women who make up the production, but the book was based on Carrie's life!!!! I get the impression, that IT was just too much for Kim!!!!!!!
After reading about this RIFT for YEARS, I NEVER FOUND A REASONABLE EXPLANATION!!!!!!!!!!!!
And ALL parts played by the four women, were equally displayed, BUT Carrie was the main character/attraction, of which the book is based on!!!!

They should have stopped after the series ended. Although the movies were enjoyable enough, they didn't need to continue with the story. I don't know what to say about And Just Like That - except that this is the most atrocious thing I've ever watched. Just why?!
I rather ENJOYED this season, except for I HAD to watch this series on MAX!! I HAD to subscribe to this channel, JUST TO WATCH this season!!! I NORMALLY, JUST buy the season, and it's MINE!!!
The ONLY 2 episodes that GREATLY IRRITATED me to NO END, was the episode where Enid manipulates Carrie FALSELY into attending a fundraising event for WEALTHY women to donate money to her organization!! That episode GREATLY IRRITATED me!! It was surprising/shocking to see Enid DESPERATELY acting/behaving in such a HORRIBLE manner/fashion!!
And then there was the episode where Carrie has reunited with Aidan and his youngest son is not on board with this and HATES the fact that his father is now dating Carrie AGAIN!! He manipulates a situation where he's at his mother's house for the week, or whatever and manufactures a situation of desperation to FORCE his father back home, AND to STOP seeing Carrie!!! And I CAN'T BELIEVE that he fell for this BS!!! But, Aidan is such a GOOD GUY and the son knows how to MANIPULATE his father!! As ALL children DO!!! Children have POWER and they KNOW this!!! I want to say that "Aidan is a weak man, but he's just an all-around good guy!!!"
I could have understood his decision, if the child was 5-8, but he's 14!! I CAN'T believe that Aidan walked out on Carrie, like he did!! This child is old enough to where it shouldn't matter who his father is dating!!! And Aidan was ONLY coming to NY to see Carrie, while he was with his mother!! This is how you know that the accident that he found himself in, was premeditated/manufactured!!!!! "I want to be at my father's house! So, he eats some hallucinogenic mushrooms and drinks alcohol, where he's in an accident and FORCES his father back HOME!!!" Well played on the son's part!!! Well played!!!!
I'm NOT saying necessarily,that the accident that resulted from his behavior, was manufactured/premeditated, but his BEHAVIOR towards the situation and his father, WAS!!!!!!!!!!
