This episode features the master Benny Greb and a section from the incredible play-through of "In A Mellow Tone" from the "Benny Plays Buddy Rich" concert in 2018. I transcribed this one in 2018, but recently came across the transcript and cleaned it up a little!
Benny's signature style is so apparent in this play-through, his subtle movement between swung/straight time is always amazing to hear and the sound/production of this video is absolutely incredible too. A really fun one to work on!
