There’s a checkbox within the Element effect controls called ‘Deform.’ Once you check it, you have a lot different deform options like twisting it on its various axis!
Thanks for the comment! 3D in Illustrator is an excellent way of saving a step. I learned this process from a studio I was at and never strayed far from it (like I mentioned in the tutorial, I don’t do much 3D, just enough to get me back into After Effects!).
You already know what I'm going to say. Why you don't have more subs? All your content is better and easy to understand.
Much appreciated! Glad you’re enjoying it. Subs will come in time, but I just enjoy teaching this stuff.
Super presentation of the Logo creation analysis. Let's have more of them. Very informative
Glad you enjoyed it! I’m working on some new tutorials for the summer. Stay tuned!

Brilliant!! How do you twist the 3D object?

Oh, that is mean it is with the plug-in right
Yup, Element 3D! It’s a rad plugin since After Effects doesn’t natively work with OBJ files.
@@itsalantime THANKS!!
when are you reaching 1k??
3:22 how to make that
The After Effects logo transition?
Hey! Excellent video man, I'm curious why didn't you use the 3D option of Illustrator instead of blender?

@@itsalantime I understand! Thanks for the reply.
I'm kind of scared by blender, it look so big and scary 😬
It is big and scary and I have made respect for the folks who can make rad stuff with it. What you saw me do is pretty much all I know 😅
