This is the first video that shows the correct way to use a chronograph to choose the correct bands and draw length for your self. Personaly I use 0.85 great white 25/20 140 in warm weather but change band length throughout the year. I never shoot more than 25 yards (except at tin cans) I have never wanted a chronograph until today, thanks Wayne for a great and informative video, I will be ordering more bands and a chronograph 👍
Cheers Jack! 👍 Yep, changing band length works too. I’ll do that too with the 0.85 and 1mm, during the seasons as the weather warms or gets colder. I just find that in the winter, especially with a cold wind, band power drops much faster at draw with a thinner band, than a thicker one. But each to their own here for sure 👍
Just got my chrony and bands today ( thanks for the pouches Wayne ) I've just been practicing over the chrony using different bands and band lengths, what an eye opener! What a great video thanks for the great advice. I haven't cut any of the red shot bands yet but I'm looking forward to using them over the weekend.
Good video 👍 too many chrony videos/tests where you can see the bands aren't being tested how they will be shot, I always put a target up downrange and shoot it through the chrony therefore replicating exactly how I shoot
@@CattyShackHunter I'm sure I will be 😉👍👍 question I wanted to ask have you ever hunted rabbits at night with a slingshot?? If you were to right now what would be your set up??
Good advice on chronograph use and consistency, speed makes a surprising difference to POI. You could do some examples of how much difference there is between snap shots and normal shooting think I might be giving up 20fps to aim.
Thanks mate. I lose around 12-15fps in aiming. Drawing to my anchor and releasing without aiming, I’m getting over 250fps. POI is really noticeable over longer shots for sure.
Thanks Wayne! It makes complete sense to chrony as you'd shoot... just that no one ever seems to do that so I'd never thought of it at all. Eyeballing the 85, but I already have a fullsize and an HGH and feel I haven't gotten enough shots in on those frames yet! When will you stop making goodlooking frames, eh?! :P
Nice info sir, can u make second part of this video saying that how much FPS ur ammo reach to the target at 30 meter of distance so that we can know how much energy it transformer to the target sir, please make such video with ur chronograph. Thank you
When "Red Shot" band rolls are available ? I need badly new stuff 😂 I have also seen speed test videos, where hand is touching chrony's steel sticks. Easier to get higher speeds that way I guess...
1 on 1 lesson, £20, if 2 people £15 each, 4 people or more £10, each. That way more affordable if a few mates book together, but overall your hourly money gets better, as it should for someone at your level.hope that sounds fair! Not sure where your based, I'M IN WALTON ON THAMES, SURREY. Would be more than happy to have a couple of hours on same day,
@@gallopingg1 I’m based in the South, and that’s kind of where I guessed the market expected to be. I think the way forward would be group sessions if I ever went down that route.
Hi buddy do your chronograph do fps as a friend got one not from you but same sort and is in meters maybe they do both ? No instructions with them at all ,
Sure I may of worded it wrong , maybe I was asking which you prefer and out of the two bands and which do you think is working better for you . This is such a indeth video . Nice one .
@@barrybaker5502 gotcha! Thank you. It’s a difficult one to be honest. The Red Shot definitely has better band life, and is a higher quality latex. But the Great White is a good strong band! I’m happy shooting either, but If I had to choose between the .85 Great White, or the equivalent size Red Shot, I’d go with the Red Shot.
Thanks wayne. IV been using the great white for a while now , and I love it . Good to know that the red shot is as good or better .bands seem to have come on so much over the last few years .
Hi mate I've got one of your chronographs how do I get the average speed reading? When I press the button is just show me the shots back but not the average speed, any help be much appreciated thank you
Hi Edward, as far as I’m aware, it doesn’t provide an average speed. For that you’d need to make a note of each speed, add them together, and divide it by how many shots you took. 235 + 240 + 238 = 713 divided by 3 = 237.6 average.
Man I have to see. Your real handsome man. I’m. It on men. But your so good to listen and watch. Good acsent good head shape and trim and face man. Your kool af. ❤❤❤ blessings dude.
This Video has helped me hugely, thank you
You're a very good teacher thanks for all the quality info and gear I've picked up off you over the years...
Interesting thoughts about winter/summer bands...
Thank Ross, much appreciated 👍
Great video Wayne, my favourite bands them by far, I won't use any other.
Great stuff I use it all year round. Great video Wayne mate
Cheers mate! Good to see you getting involved on UA-cam 👍

Do you get hand slap with that setup? Do you use 11 mil steels?
You fairly explain your videos Wayne very well. You make perfect sense easy to follow have to try out these bands
Cheers Keiran 👍

Need to try some of this Band
Crackin video ...great instruction ...cheers.
I know you still have more testing to do with the new band material, but.... what is your favorite brand of banding material at this current time?
The Catty Shack, Great White band has been probably the best for me, but I’m more than confident that this will match it.

Do you twist band while shooting and why, dear friend?
