Thank you so much.....your video has saved my life! For those who are not doing this sort of thing every day, information like this saves time and money.
Thank you so much for this. You don't talk too fast, you explain everything and don't assume we know everything, even the basics, and made it a very helpful and easy to understand tutorial.
You're more than a genius bro, my friends Pc always goes into the BIOS Settings every boot up and i Put Windows 7 in my 7GB Memory Card and if i boot from USB it jump back to BIOS menu and now i used your method from this video it took me to Windows Installation Screen........Thumbs up and Five Start to all your videos because most of your videos i watched yet all worked for me
Dude....thank you so much. I never like videos, and I never subscribe. But, you''re seriously a life saver. This is the only video that helped me. Sweet, simple. and to the point! Thanks again!
After I installed the Windows 8,can I use this USB again to install windows 8 on another computer or do I have to re-format it and put the files again? Oh,and one more thing. Will this fix my keyboard problems like>KEYS ARE NOT TYPING
His statement is valid. This is a tutorial on creating an installation media on USB; when booted launches only the option to install. Big difference, bootable means when you set your computer to boot from USB an operating system launches for use.
Ok I just applied what I learned here on your tutorial and presto! It worked perfectly. I just wanted to let you know and others that I really am grateful for this tutorial video. WinToBootic is a new software to me and this helped me to reinstall Windows 7 on my Dad's computer. His BIOS only recognizes cd's whether onboard or USB not DVD's. However, it will boot off of USB flashdrives. Thanks again.
Thank You brother! You saved me from countless hours of frustration. Windows 7 wouldn't boot from my purchased disc but your method worked like a charm! Thanks!!
Mine worked perfectly, i got the win 8 install from an external site, you cannot use that link in the description is one thing to point out. Everything else is very nice! Thanks man!
yea....both the softwares and the videos are great....i just installed a windows 7 professional on my desktop computer using this method......and honestly speaking, its the best, fast and easy. Thanx alot for the video tutorial...you are the best
life saver time saver, this damn Microsoft's tool didn't show my formatted HDD i thought my disk drive was broken, then tried searching other similar like this it works it shows every usb drive.
Thank you so much! I tired using a USB DVD-ROM on my Thinkpad X40, but it hardly ever sees it on boot. I use USB for linux on it all the time and now I can dual boot a newer Windows.
Thanks for sharing, this cuts install time down to 10-15 mins! Remember blowing an hour w/ DVD installs, often just to get an error or BSOD at the last minute.
Thank you!!! I spent hours messing with Bootcamp on OS X with no success. I found this video, jumped on my old PC installed a somewhat sketchy looking program and it WORKED GREAT!!! Strait Forward> Successful>
tomass yes it works i just installed win 8.1, thanks man....i messed up my laptop during installation of unbuntu cloudnt dual boot only boots to ubuntu and this really helped un-mess it.....
Thank you so much. If I hadn't of found this video I would of bought a new computer because the one I'm using currently was messed up, and this video helped me fix it. Thank you so much.
I am using a dual core laptop from Dell (the ones that overheat) and it had Windows 7 installed. Now I have Lubuntu installed but I frankly don like using the terminal and I prefer word. So thank you for explaining this. Think I'll buy a 256 drive and use it as an memory boost. After all If I want games on it I don't want them hogging my 80GB drive. Yes this thing is ancient.
I did windows 7 from a Vista OS and it was a little different but the program worked. I just moved the whole file folder for W7 to the Wintobootic application and selected the second option after hitting F2. This then prompted a test run for problems and then the W7 install began. I was never asked for a code up to this point despite purchasing a code.
Your BIOS may not support this as older computers usually don't. However if it does then upon startup of your pc, hit the specified key to open the bios. Its different on most machines but most usually are ESC, F2. Enter the tab that contains the boot sequence - in this video its under the BOOT tab (2.19) and change the usb storage, usb HDD or External HDD to boot first then exit saving changes. Inserted ur usb start up your machine. Press the key to enter setup. And there you go!
This does not format the OS disk by default, but you can select to reformat, once you enter the Windows 7 setup. If you opt not to reformat, it will install windows onto the hard disk without deleting other non-windows files.
Couple of questions: 1.) Once I have done this, do I have to boot from my USB drive every time? Or can I just boot from the Hard Drive once this process is complete? 2.) Do I follow the same instructions if I am installing windows to a brand new PC, that currently has NO OS on it at all?
You presented a very clear video. I was going to do this operation until I realized that this does not provide a dual boot for both Windows OS programs that I wish to run. Is that correct?
Thanks give me error couse have USB in NTFS ..then when i change to FAT32 EVERYTHING Great.. apreciate it amazing.. Now i just need to format my friends Desktop computer..
I was looking on vids to see how to reinstall windows 7 on toshiba satellite through a flash drive and thankfully i clicked on this and it showed me how to make a bootable usb so i gonna buy a new one because i dont want to use the one i have now because i need it for my 4gb xbox 360 so im gonna do all these steps thanks
This method is ok for a regular BIOS, but how about a UEFI type style setup. I know this video is a old but the concept is still valid. Try making a video with a more up to date method, I'm sure it would assist a lot of folks out there. Over all a very good video.
Can you have two or more ISO images using the same USB Flash Drives to create a Bootable Flash Drive. I usually use YUMI to create a Bootable Flash Drive & can use more than 4 o 5 ISO images. But i have never used Wintobootic. Thank you, keep up the great work.
I like the video. I'm teaching myself how to fix errors and boot through usb. This is way easier than what I did to add xp back to my asus eee pc 1005h. I was running ubunto on it but wanted to go back to xp. I actually ran an error when I can't go online. The wlan won't switch on when I use the fn key and f2. I was thinking just to go to windows 7 or 8. What do you recommend?
My next trick...I've tried all the MS fixes but my PC is stuck in a loop. Can I just repair my Win 7 using this ISO cos I don't wanna lose all my files? Thanks for your great site - I just subscribed!
So when plug in the usb and restart the computer, and complete the installation process, whats your prefered method of getting ALL your files and stuff back on once you finish installing?
Thank you so much.....your video has saved my life! For those who are not doing this sort of thing every day, information like this saves time and money.
Do you really die that easay??
Thank you so much for this. You don't talk too fast, you explain everything and don't assume we know everything, even the basics, and made it a very helpful and easy to understand tutorial.
Good tutorial. The best and faster tutorial on youtube. Thanks !
GineL Sym Thank you
***** You welcome !
***** I just tried with a 4gb USB drive and it didn't work. I would trust a 6-8 to get it done though.

You can install on as many computers as you want, and should fix your error.

Yes. You can dual-boot any operating system as long as you know how to do it (Macintosh-based operating systems are a bit more difficult though)
Thank you!!!
I spent hours messing with Bootcamp on OS X with no success.

Yes. You can do this on any machine running windows, preferably ones newer then Windows XP so you shouldn't have a problem.

This does not format the OS disk by default, but you can select to reformat, once you enter the Windows 7 setup. If you opt not to reformat, it will install windows onto the hard disk without deleting other non-windows files.
Thanks, it was easy and worked on my laptop by using pendrive.

Not many computers may support this unless you have a USB SD card reader. I'm not exactly sure but you could give it a go!
I've confirmed in 2017 this does indeed work. I used windows 7.
U can extract the iso on a formated usb with 7z it works !
