I was very pleased with these filters. What is your favourite brand of ND filter?
Tilta Mirage
Excellent review. You definitely have the formula down for growing on UA-cam with good looking content w/ substance!
Thanks a lot! Cool to hear this :-)
Congratz for the milestone, much deserved!
Thanks a lot mate!
This was a great approach for evaluating color shift. Thanks for presenting it.
Thanks a lot!🙏🏼
This might be the best Variable ND test I've ever seen. Makes me feel good I went with the Freewell system!
Its really good. I absolutely liked it :-)
You are absolutely right about the video!
Truely impressed with your reviewed. Subbed really best vnd review I’ve ever seen. Loved the technical info.
Amazing man! Thanks so much :-)
Most informative video about the system. I appreciate your work. Cheers!
Much appreciated!
I wonder, does the mist base give you similar results? Could you make a comment about it, if you tested it. Thanks!
I had to rewatch this one on the tv but very detailed and fun to watch! Thanks😃
Haha thanks dude!
Great video! Really hard to find simmod user and I'm love the way we can adjust the whole vnd rotation. Not sure why no other adapt this idea
Same man. Such an innovative design!
Great video man! Really like this clean and calm setting.
I am still in a doubt about the Peter Mckinnon Polar Pro's vs the Freewell filters. At the end, Leaving the mist filters on the side, I would pay the same amount of money of the whole Freewell package incl the step up rings vs the 2 filters of Mckninnon. I'm doing a lot of run and gun work and mostly using around 3 lenses. So using the step up rings with the Freewell filters, I am not sure if that would safe that much time compared to a normal tread filter. Any suggestion based on this ?
I found the filters very safe! The magnetic attachment is very strong!
Congratulation on 10k family.
Thanks dude
Can you use a step-up ring for it? Let’s say you have a ton of prime lenses but you don’t want to spend 400$ for this set per lens. So could you just buy the largest size you need and use step-up rings?
For sure. I use this all the time!
awesome man! looks awesome. especially to be able to turn it around forr more useability!
Absolutely. I was surprised with the flexibility
I can definitely imagine that it was a lot of work to make this video! Great job.The magnetic 🧲 ring is a really good idea, and the case with the sliding drawers is excellent. I would LOVE to see a video like this comparing the Canon C70, the BMPCC 6K PRO and the Sony FX6’s internal NDs!!! (Although they have a different system) A shout out to “Felix”, the bird on the blue sky 😂 and CONGRATULATIONS 🎉🎊🎈 on passing 10K! You deserve it, brother 👏👏👏
Oeh, that is actually an interesting idea! Thanks dude! And also thanks for the 10k’s, so stoked
@@SjoerdWess Anytime bro. Maybe you can rent them and do that!
🙏 will look into it!
Such a great and helpful video. Thank you for putting in all the work. Really appreciate it. Greetings from Berlin! 🖤
Glad it was helpful! Thanks a lot!
I don't have headaches anymore after I've bought an IRND 16 ahahah
Great video mate!
I can imagine man, haha
Probably the best VND test in UA-cam. Are you using version 2 of the PolarPro VND?
Thanks mate! This is the v1!
@@SjoerdWess great work! According to Gerald's comparison files of the 2 versions (see description at ua-cam.com/video/9gKgEa1Zi0o/v-deo.html) it appears that v2 has less (green) color cast at 2-3 stops, while v1 is better at 4-5 stops. I have v2 (not mist) and I find the color cast a bit annoying. So, I was wondering how the Freewell VNDs behave, as their magnetic system is a real advantage...
Interesting! Ill have a look
if you had understood the system of the bag and pulled on the brown ribbon, you would also get the filters out more easily ;- )
I pulled the ribbon, still it wont come out easily. You can see me pulling the thing on the close-up shots
Does the magnetic lens cap work without the vnd base in the threaded part?
Dont think so!
What focal length was all the tests shot on?
Mostly 35!
Is there a promotion running for the magnetic one?
I believe not! Maybe in your local shop!
Your first link do not work :) (at least in the UA-cam app)
Fixed! Thanks man🙏
😍😘awesome
Thanks a lot❤️
Freewell is not IR-VND so NiSi IRND is better
When IR is an issue yes. If not, than I’d prefer the flexibility
@@SjoerdWess BMPCC IR-Cut has an eternal problem ))))
Also covered in other of my videos. I dont think its to bad
