- Lomagundi road is getting a complete reconstruction as well as expansion from a 2 lane road to a 4 lane road. It is set to be the main access road to the new parliament as well the main exit road to Chirundu border, which links Zimbabwe to Zambia.

Thank you for reminding us. Zimbabwe is full of self hate. Shame on us as a people. Having travelled a lot and seen many countries, we have one of the most beautiful countries but eish the self hate is too much. We always think everywhere else is better than our own country. And that is actually not true. ❤

Now that has nothing to with the govt but everything to do with hunhu. People throw litter from cars! That’s a sign of a people with no self respect. We can do better than that. You may be poor but at least let’s be clean

Seems like Mbudzi interchange has been forgotten. Obviously this has become a priority because HE wants it completed before August. Meaning the money is there but what's lacking is the will and desire to undertake these projects
Without sanctions now, Zimbabwe should really grow fast

Hi mr Zim, this is a good move, infact a lot of our roads need to be dualised even road from makoni chitungwiza to seke Dema and people built houses close to roads must nicely relocated. a lot places in Zim people shall be relocated as the development boom bcoz country been letting country grow without infrsstructure planning
From the intersection with west road to greencroft it will be interesting to see what they come up with

Wow! 40+ years for a new parliament away from the old colonial structure, about time! What will become of the old parliament building? Should turn it into a museum of sorts. So much progress going on in Harare!! Thanks Mr Zim.
I would suggest a Kindergarten /crèche for under privileged kids from the surrounding ghettos. Everything paid from the government. And also the 'blue roof' mansion and surrounding gardens could be turned into a primary school.
The old Parliament building belongs to Methodist church
I thought by now this road would have been appropriately named as it is...NEMAKONDE ROAD....

Where exactly is the expansion work being done on Lomagundi Road? I used to live at Number 89 when I was growing up and was trying to recognise places. The only familiar area I saw was the shops at Avonlea.
The road will now be 4 lanes from West road right up to Westgate
@@MrZim263 I remember when the cycle path was built. Used to use it every day when I was at Avondale Junior School and Mount Pleasant. I never really went much further west than the shops at Avonlea.
