Agree - however, that does not justify killing or causing life-altering harm. The victims have their right to the technology or not. The Social Contract we live under - does in fact determine our right to "Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness." Then for the Commandments which include "Thou shalt not kill." Regardless of a person's faith or belief in God or not - these Commandments are the guide to all State Laws and the foundation of all Justice Systems in the nation that Krack-pot-zynski resides.
Honestly - I see a lot of technology as money holes and upgrade theft - but none of the ills of technology or the people behind it - our how many robots will take over our lives - does not justify killing or bringing harm to others.
My IQ is only 138 - much lower than Kaczynski - but I am able to figure out the ethics of how to conduct myself in a civil society.
Wonder how a dumbass like myself has been able to figure out which side of the law to live under.
I have three patents to my name - all would help save lives or prevent injury or good wholesome fun and exercise for kids.
What good did that idiot ever generate in his lifetime - it almost makes me wish that the educational institutions would put less academic glorification on screwballs like this - a pure waste of grants and scholarships. If you ask me.

Once you know what they did to him with the lsd experiments at Harvard, his words about becoming completely anti technology in his last year and him changing in his last year start to make sense. the fact that the professor he admired and looked up to and was like a god to him would dose him with lsd and humiliate him to study its effect on him puts his words about smart people and sadistic streaks to his brother in perspective.

Why cant we accept his vulnerability as Human and work on emotinal stability?
how many times do we reach out to a gloomy classmates? It's the carelessness of human actions that paved way for his hate. Everyone of us who thinks it's not their job to be the better person, that the world is not worth their time, is paving way for another Ted.

"For example Ai systems for predicting business possibilities"
A.i. is way worse than social media addiction, and when you think about it, a.i. has a hand in that too.
A.i. without serious oversight has the potential, like nuclear power, to end us all.

No one wants to talk about his book…..because it’s an enormous condemnation of todays society and people on the left.
“Leftism stems from feelings of inferiority and "oversocialization", which refers to excessively following societal norms and feeling guilt over minor transgressions.
Leftists see themselves as rebels, but they are in fact the biggest supports of the technological-industrial system due to treating their "activism" as a "surrogate activity" in their power process, and feminism and minority rights are merely pretexts for their insatiable totalitarian drive for power, always inventing new problems, which merely strengthens the industrial order with greater loss of autonomy.”
