    Unabomber publishes an 1 hour 40 minutes read in a widely distributed national newspaper
    Reporter : “Do you have anything to say at all?”

    The FBI didn’t catch him and would have likely NEVER had caught him. It his brother and his brother’s wife who caught him. It always amazes me when they interview FBI agents, especially who worked the UNABOMBER Task Force, who can actually sit there with a straight face and boast about how “they finally caught the UNABOMBER”.
    No...smh....you didn’t.

      All the actions commited by the fbi all led up to the point where his family could recognise him

    • @kirbfx
      @kirbfx 4 роки тому +15

      @@Parzalai No, it was the actions of Ted who lead his family to pointing him out. The FBI not taking action by getting in the way of publishing his manuscript with two newspapers is the only correct step they EVER took and it was one of INaction.

      @@kirbfx That's not really exact, and you make it sounds like all they had to do is ... nothing. There were decades of attempted approaches, huge task forces, that lead to that conclusion. They even created a new way of recognizing people... by the way they write. They were able to find out where he was from, where he studied, that he had a phd, the quite specific range of years that he did all of these things, etc. That's not exactly ''inaction''. When his brother heard the fbi agent, he thought they had been spying on him for a long time, while actually all the agent had done.... was understand all that information just from the way he was writing. Small nuances such as the way certain words were spelled, certain sayings said in a certain way, etc.

      Not his brother are u an idiot they found him because of AGENT James Fitzergarld. FBI wouldn’t even had found him in 1000 years

      How on earth can you say technology is ruining everything. Lmao. The food you eat, the clothes you wear, the electronic device you are using, the advance in medicine, etc etc have all made man live better, ofcourse there are cons to it too, but the pros outweights the cons by miles. Get real.

      @@clutch5011 live better? I think you mean live more dormant and docile lives, filled with repressed anger that usually comes to a boiling point and results in mass shootings. Most modern people have no real happiness

    • @pechblendae
      @pechblendae 2 роки тому +22

      @@clutch5011 the food you eat comes from the food chain that often exploits the direct farmers. The large scale retail trade is one of the biggest sources of pollution and exploitation. The clothes you wear are almost always produced in underdeveloped countries that use child exploitation as working force. The electronic device we use are made with components that are toxic and their extraction puts the workers at risk (I.e. lithium for batteries), people that work with no protection of safety measures. The modern medicine is a privilege for few people: most of the world’s population doesn’t have access to its wonders, even in a developed country like US that doesn’t guarantee healthcare to its citizens. We are almost 8bln people on this planet but just a fraction of them, takes advantages of technology therefore we shouldn’t consider that as an achievement. We fucked up the planet for having an avocado on every table in Europe.
