The clothes you wear are almost always produced in underdeveloped countries that use child exploitation as working force. The electronic device we use are made with components that are toxic and their extraction puts the workers at risk (I.e. lithium for batteries), people that work with no protection of safety measures. The modern medicine is a privilege for few people: most of the world’s population doesn’t have access to its wonders, even in a developed country like US that doesn’t guarantee healthcare to its citizens. We are almost 8bln people on this planet but just a fraction of them, takes advantages of technology therefore we shouldn’t consider that as an achievement. We fucked up the planet for having an avocado on every table in Europe.
