YES. I'm not a neurologist. I have chronic Lyme disease with severe arthritis pain and insomnia. The correct strain and variety of cannabis is amazing. Probably saved my life.

Restless leg syndrome is a symptom of magnesium deficiency. Noone gets enough relaxing magnesium...I suggest using magnesium cream before bed.

This comment is for the woman who said she becomes aware of the fact that she's dreaming and it's disruptive. When that happens just tell yourself to go back to sleep and forget yourself. Also before sleeping tell yourself you're going to sleep soundly through the night. If you have ruminating thoughts bring them close to you like you're hugging them.

Is it true that chronic stoners have lost their natural endocanabinoid system overtaken by the fitocanabinoids of the plant, therefore creating a phisical addiction?
Sure weed helps with sleep but prevents dreaming.

I'm surprised there was no talk about withdrawal symptoms. I used cannabis (low dose, just 5 mg edibles) for minor insomnia, it worked great, but when I decided to quit using it I struggled with insomnia even worse than before. It took me a couple months to level out. Maybe I'm unique in that sense. I was surprised I didn't hear any mention of withdrawal in this lecture.

I agree. Me too. It's because this doctor is clearly pro weed 420. Weed has strong withdrawals. It's bullshit it aint addictive. Fitocanabinoids of the plant take over our natural endocanabinoids, thats a chemical addiction. Sure weed helps with sleep but shuts completely the dream stages.

I've read many others say the same thing. Anything habitual seems to create an insomnia rebound.
I use a 10mg THC gummy at bedtime.

The vast majority of sleep studies are done to sell CPAPs.

Going on and on about a bunch of irrelevant things. When you use weed to sleep you wake up really fatigued because the quality of sleep is terrible. And you get withdrawals when you stop. Non intelligent guy just reciting from textbooks. 🙄 and perfectly safe?!? WTF!?
