Cannabis For Epilepsy Control
neurologyofcannabis.com
The definition of treatment resistant epilepsy includes three or more attempts at seizure control using conventional anticonvulsant agents. If you have patients or you know someone that has tried three or more seizure medications, this may be the time to consider cannabis medicine.
We have FDA approval for a CBD product here in the United States, called, Epidiolex. And in patients with Dravet syndrome, Lennox-Gastaut, and tuberous sclerosis, we have hard evidence that cannabidiol in doses between 500 and 2,000 milligrams can reduce seizure frequency. Some investigators are now using CBD rich products in patients with other types of epilepsy and seeing encouraging results.
So when it comes to treating patients with cannabis medicine, number one, don’t be afraid. It’s worth trying. It’s safe. It’s CBD. And number two, remember that the dose often needs to be 10 or 15 milligrams per kilogram, which gets up to around 1,500 milligrams per day for a 40-kilogram or so youngster.
Thanks for listening, and feel free to reach me here at the Neurology of Cannabis Clinic.

neurologyofcannabis.com Patients with obsessive compulsive disorder often have intrusive thoughts that ruminate in their heads on and on, and on. And fortunately, we do have some conventional therapy that helps. These are usually serotonergic agents, agents that limit the reuptake of serotonin. SSRIs, they’re often called, the reuptake inhibitors, and this can help reduce the anxiety and rumina...

There’s a difference. There’s a dif...

neurologyofcannabis.com Hello, friends and colleagues. Protein collection in the brain, in the nerve cells can often cause nerve cell death. I have HD. I don’t have any movement issues. I do have extreme anxiety, depression, lack of focus, obsessive thoughts ect. I have been using cannabis to help me. It does help a lot. It isn’t for everyone. But it helps me focus and stabilize my mood. Not a lot. Just a little bit. Too much will have the opposite effect. If you’re prone to anxiety it’s best to not try under unsupervised conditions. Don’t be afraid to try with a Dr.’s permission. Iy still has the stigma of being a “drug”. It is a drug, but one with no long lasting side effects and safe for almost anyone.
Depends what strain you smoke or eat. I smoked some strains that are really good. I also blacklisted a few, they feel very caótic, unbearable, scary etc. Very unpleasant. My first time was the worst. I thought weed wasn't for me. Until i found the right strains. But it if happens. 1) Remember you can't die of it as a matter of fact. Plus its your brain triggering life or death feelings that are not real. 2) It will pass and go away. Basically every weed strain hits different Also try weed with high concentrations of CBD. For a better controlled high!
Cannabis is training the brain to get high yes there is a direct correlation between cannabis use and schizophrenia
Great, please send.
Dude like seriously if you even knew anything about Cannabis besides the horse shit from the propaganda video Refer Madness then you would know that Cannabis reactions depend heavily on the person's Genetics and DNA on how it will affect said person. As for my personal experience. I was diagnosed with Anti Social Traits and Type 2 Bipolar and after the long rough road of taking Depicote which made me Suicidal and Geodon which turned me into a Zombie and Lithium that gave me Leg Tremors I said Fk it and turned to Cannabis and Shrooms and I haven't turned back since as they help me far better than any Pharmaceutical Drug.
I'm feeling really confused, I don't have these anxiety attacks and soooo feeling down mood when I use cannabis but when I don't it gets scary like my brain is a laundry machine, I don't know if I'm abusing it or not most of the times recently, I would be really appreciated if someone can help or share their experiences
¡Ya es legal! California legalization, recreationally!
2 years ago tonight I was in hospital with COVID (viral pneumonia) and I was also diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. The docs knew I smoked pot when I went in and the only thing my discharge doc told me was to hold off for a couple of weeks before I started up again.
I should be able to protect ur home atleast

I guess we not gonna ever get a yes or no on this every video was like well maybe it’ll help or maybe it’ll make it worse
wow 2 cameras
Excellent. Thank you. The first time through I thought you were saying teachers, not tinctures.
what is the antidote of excess black pepper ??
Dude ain’t say nothing 😂😂😂 which one get you higher is the question
Medical one gets your higher basically, 22% up to 31% THC medical. But it's all a con really, medical is £5 upwards a gram ffs 🙄 up to £13 a gram, I'd never pay that for it though. I have a medical prescription and max I pay a month on it is £170 for 20g. Comes in 10g medical pots so I have 2 different strains. But I have no problem with going back to my 2 mates who grow it for themselves as it's not irradiated nuked shit like most of the medical stuff is. Plus the black market stuff I can still get on board with the 14g for £100 thing like it's always been for years. Sometimes cheaper if know the due sorting you out etc. But yea it's a massive money maker con basically, just so blazers can finally say 'im legal because it's my prescription ' 😂

Aspirin & Weed the wonder drug that the health industry will never tell you in a million years.
I had a problem with OCD for a few years, I tried many SSRIs for it, with different results, but I found low THC high CBD strains EXTREMELY helpful in managing compulsions and obsessions. I started with "Charlotte's Angel", which was like 0,5% THC and it worked amazing, but it was pretty expensive to get, so I tried even weaker, cheap ones that don`t get you high at all, with something like 0,2% thc and high cbd, and it literally saved my life. It doesn`t get me high at all, my OCD is pretty much gone, my anxiety is all time low, and I don`t have any "too relaxing" side effects, so I can still work perfectly fine.
Info pls
Can u put info here
I use recreational weed for my anxiety I just don't have a prescription
Good explanation doc
This was very informative. Thank you for sharing this video.
I get the feeling , you only value money.
Is this maybe to simplified? I think vaping still releases unwanted components that can cross the blood brain barrier...
1.5 years clean ❤ today
This is my estranged wife. Absolutely.
Mine too
I can honestly say that I was on pharmaceuticals since I was 10 for my bipolar disorder. I have been on so many different types of medications. Almost all of them made me feel horrible. The last one that I was on before I just quit taking pharmaceuticals was lithium. I was curious and I looked it up and apparently it could attack the kidneys. I went to my therapist I told him that I did not want to be on it anymore because I felt disrespected because I was born with one kidney and he knew about that when I first started going to him. Since then I've been taking cannabis ever since. And it helps so much more than actual pharmaceuticals in my opinion for me.
Such an excellent professor! Very well spoken 👏
I had migraines since many years with throwing up and I don't have any symptoms since few years.. i am chronic cannabis user. Peace!
Dosage how?
Ok makes sense
How is he now ???
Not helpful. And you make money selling cannabis, can anyone really trust your word?
This video is inaccurate. I have BP2 and I absolutely GUARANTEE everyone that it makes mood swings much WORSE, and far more intense.
THANK YOU FOR TELLING YOUR TRUTH! IT DOES THE VERY SAME THING TO MY HUSBAND! We are falling apart because of his abuse of pot/ self medication.
Perhaps in accurate for you. It’s not a one size fits all situation.
Not for me.
@@kiomarily I respect that, however, and it's big however, it radically changes as you get older. Don't take my word for it, research actually unbiased studies. Habitual use of smoke inhaled weed screws with your neurotransmitters BAD. Read up on it and the effects of maybe 20 years of use. It also effects you genetically via your DNA and Chromosomes. It has it's analgesic properties, but DEFINITELY should not be used to treat mental illness, especially in combination with other psychotropics or reuptake inhibitors.
I can attest to this I am same disorder 100% made it worse struggled for 12 years now 4 months clean
Good deal.
Good deal.
Hello, I would love to come see you. I have Early Onset Alzheimer's and Medical Marijuana has done wonders for me. Not to mention I am off the majority of my prescriptions including pain, restless leg syndrome, barely ever take anxiety medicine anymore. Takes care of almost everything and I can only concentrate when I am medicated.
🙏🏽
I was diagnosed bipolar II in my home country Brazil and started treatment with Lithium over there, but my treatment was denied and interrupted by the NHS in the UK where I currently live (it seems like they avoid prescribing any drugs that needs blood test or monitoring due to costs). I could ship the drug from Brazil but still I won't be able to have blood tests regularly. I considered trying cannabis oil as it is my only available resource now.
This is terrible! Lithium is on the list of essential medicines. I would encourage you to find out the costs of testing and paying directly if possible. If only testing for lithium levels it should be fairly cheap if you only do it annually. See if you can't find testing in a neighboring country if that's not possible in the UK. Also lithium can be cheap here in the States with a 90 day supply costing as low as $12. I really do encourage you to look into this further. The battle to get medication is not always easily won.
You know you can just buy lithium supplements from a vitamin store or online
@@tylersoto7465 That is lithium orate which is different from prescription lithium carbonate. From what I've briefly read, I would not recommend lithium orate unless you are desperate.
@alicec.6195 você conseguiu usar cbd pra bipolaridade se sim está se sentindo melhor?
Doctor it's not a disease it's a mental disorder hello.
