😊 so true. My friends kid when he was younger. We use to sign. But soon as he got his hearing aids fitted. I came out and said "glad you got them finally fitted! I so glad I can't be arsed to sign no more (winding him up)" he reply without skipping abeat "gosh, your voice is terrible!! It's like nails on a chalkboard!!!" Even though he never heard the sound before. 😂

Probably not, but then it wouldn't be special if it lasted forever, it would be ordinary...that's how we know when something is special, because we have it for a time that we can differentiate from the time we don't have it (can be 5 minutes or 5 years)...will she always want to hear, to have her ears turned on? Probably not, but she'll get to choose, and that is above special, it's somewhere between miraculous, priceless, and a blessing, still with the chance of becoming deliciously ordinary, because there is nothing wrong with ordinary, there is much to value even there...
