  • President William Ruto has reaffirmed his commitment to revitalizing the Technical and Vocational Training institutions by ensuring that the TVET Curriculum Development Assessment and Certification Council will take back its role in reviewing curriculum at TVET institutions. This responsibility had been shifted to the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) following the abolition of TVET-CDACC in 2022 during President Uhuru Kenyatta's administration. Ruto emphasized the crucial role of TVET institutions in driving economic growth and announced plans to sign a labor agreement with Germany in September. The President attended the Centenary Celebrations for TVETS held at the Kabete National Polytechnic.

I would rather they work together. CDAAC is doing a very shoddy Job. Am a lecturer and the exams za CDAAC are substandard
They don't get well qualified and experienced teachers for the work like KNEC do... Who is in charge at CDAAC. AKI hajui kazi take...
