I always prefer black phone's. Same goes for the Google pixel except I ended up going with the silver pixel XL because of the shinyness of the chamford edges. I wish the black XL has polished edges like on the 6p. As far as these phone's I'd have to choose the black one.

I KNEW IT! Somebody said it had fast charging. They didn't say you had to *buy* an adapter just to get fast charging, USB-C no less. Fucking ridiculous

Apple needs to upgrade their screen resolution or drop the price. And do something with their launcher.
They might want to up their build quality like that of the essential phone.
They don't even offer quick charge out of the box you have to buy accessories for that.
I think people could justify the price if they included alot of the accessories.

Using i0s 11 on my coworkers iPhone 7plus and even he is envious of my s8+. Ios 11 seems very complicated when it comes to just multitasking and shortcuts. I'm sure the experience on the iPhone 8/8plus is the same, not entirely enough to get me on the ios ecosystem
What I have liked to see is being able to at least change the aspect ratio of the screen to include more apps and take some away

Review the 8 plus first please. I too like the silver best but space gray isn't ugly. Waiting on the X but 8 plus is still a contender.

Some of the things seen in this video (SIM needed for ANY access, no USB-C, fast charging a $70-$80 upgrade, no headphone jack instead of having a choice) in addition to the more walled-garden environment and the inability to transfer files easily to the computer (except for photos) really make me remember why I've never chosen to buy an Apple device, even if their technologies are cool.
It sounds like many UA-camrs recently got burned by Caseology. I hope you didn't.

They should have come out with a new design this year with the iPhone 8/8 Plus. Looks like they want people to buy the 8 and then once the X comes out, they expect people to trade it in(at a lower price) and get the X. Anyway i'm hoping next year they include Touch id underneath the screen i.e "new & improved Touch id - generation 3" and remove the notch from the X.
