"Znesinnia" is a regional landscape park in Ukraine. Located in the Lychakiv district of the city of Lviv, not far (to the east) from the city center (approx. 20 minutes on foot).
The park was declared an object of the nature reserve fund of Ukraine in accordance with the decision of the Lviv Regional Council No. 327 of December 2, 1993. It is a structural subdivision of the executive body of the Lviv City Council. It was created for the preservation and restoration of the unique natural and historical complex of the Znesinnia ridge and the adjacent territories of the ancient settlements - Znesinnia and Kryvchytsi. The park is located on a wooded hill of the Lviv plateau; its main part is located in the Kaiserwald area.
On the territory of the park are located:
natural landscapes;
separate valuable complexes and objects of nature, history, culture, which are subject to special protection;
historical and cultural zones (places of liberation battles, places of functioning of cultural and educational and national centers, a cemetery of the middle of the 19th century);
low-rise residential buildings with homesteads, historical quarter medium-rise buildings;
Museum of folk architecture and life named after Klymentii Sheptytskyi;
industrial zone;
educational institutions, medical institutions, churches, monasteries, sports, military facilities, engineering structures and networks.
