Hello Bama grad. I bought 1/4 inch steel rod from a steel supplier, cut them to length and welded on tabs made from some scrap flat bar. Thanks for your interest!
Sorry Mate, I didn't see your comment until a few days ago. I bought the rods from an engineering shop in town that sells steel, brass and alloy of all shapes and sizes.
